Needs better graphics

Hey there!
As we can see in the gameplay video, the graphics looks horrible. I'm sorry, but the truth is you wish to release a game in 16-17 years with 10 years old graphics or even older. Yes, probably nature looks good, but look at the soldier models, look at their moves.

What am I saying? Even COD WaW looks better! You should also check on BFBC2 Vietnam, even now it looks wonderfull.

I hope you will pay attention to this, as people say "you are judged by appearances at first but by your mind later on", it's very important!

10 year old engine, not graphics get your facts straight. If you're so concerned about graphics why the hell did you buy RS and RO2? I highly doubt you bought them when RO2 came out. From what I can see the stuttering in first person is collision related with objects, as you can see on the Khe-San map with the M60.... Third person, as far as I can tell is actor ticking neither of which have to do with graphics, and ummm neither do animations.

The truth is RS and RO2 were outdated with graphics in the day they released. That's a fact. Outdated about 2 or 3 years, but imagine now game with 10 years old graphics...just imagine it, who will buy it? You as a true fan? 100 like you? Alright, 1000 like you, but only fans.

If they wish to make a good product the one people will like, first thing first and it's all about graphics. Fans will buy it anyway, but there is more people, more potential players.

We dont play Rising Storm because of the graphics.

I would love that the game has outdated graphics, that means the people how will play will be real players, as you call them, "fans", and not the ones who only care about graphics and visuals.

550 rising storm players are better than 55.000 cod or battlefield players,

In the last 10 years their wasn't such a huge step in terms of graphics. CoD is the main example which shows that graphics are not the first priority anymore. It just important that it exeeds a certain line. And in my opinion Rising Storm 2 and even the first Rising Storm does that for the most part. I wouldn't mind a small boost in graphics but thats not that important.

RO2 on the other hand looked awful in comparison. Especially the maps like bridges or so.

It's important that they make the experience as fluent as possible, fix the animations of players and any stuttering.

Well, the problem is that COD graphics still looks better than has any Rising Storm, Red Orchestra. More than that COD is still looks good, at least good enough to buy it every year no metter what's inside.

You can't really compare CoD and RS because CoD uses small scale maps and Rising Storm large to medium sized maps. And even BF4 does have very undetailed maps, especially interior. It's the light and post processing effects which are superb in the BF-Series. Rising Storm 2 doesn't have to hide. It's alright compared to Arma 3, DayZ or Insurgency. It looks better than CSGO and thats the most played shooter on Steam. But they can boost the details on small scaled maps

The last engine build was in late 2015 for Unreal 3? Anyways the graphics are fine, personally I like the shaders used in this game alot. Furthermore the fact is overall the graphics for this game are completely tolerable. I mean I probably wouldn't be playing it if it say had DOOM era graphics. I'll admit graphics do play a role in a game's appeal, but we're not talking ancient technology here. Like the blending of 2D and 3D of DOOM. There are multiple valid reasons to continue to use Unreal 3.
1) Cost in time and Money to get acquainted with the newer engine.
2) It is stable, and doesn't have problems with AMD processors like UE4.
3) Graphics may not be "uber-awesome-hyper-realistic" but they are still good.
4) Alienation of previous (and possibly loyal) customers who cannot meet the minimum requirements of UE4.
That's the basics, I mean I wouldn't mind if I was on a newer engine, its just the fact that at the moment it doesn't need to be.

I've got my own opinion and I came here to share it with devs, this is what forums actually for. If you don't get it then grow up first and ask adults to teach you to respect other people and their opinion.

No metter what maps here, is this FPS? Correct! Is this the Vietnam War? Positive! So I've got all rights to compare these games.

Anyways the graphics are fine...

Look at the soldier models again and say it's fine, look the way they moves and tell me it's okay. The Nature looks good, but there is more than just nature.

Yes! Yes! This is what I'm talking about! Better to make CHEAP game with CHEAP engine and no metter what people will think! And when only 1k of fans will buy the game, these people, actually fans who got the game will make wonder face and ask a question - "what's wrong with you people? why don't want to play this wonderfull game! look! the graphics is not that bad at all! come on! at least it has a good stability!".

There is MOH: Airborne (2007), there is COD WaW (2007), these don't need to have "uber-awesome-hyper-realistic" to be better with graphics than RS2 (2016-2017). Isn't that strange you think? Do you really want to say it's fine?

This isn't a AAA studio, were talking about maybe 15-25 people tops working on this of you can't accept the game for just because of graphics and nothing else, you're better off leaving. This discussion is pointless to begin with, they aren't going to change the engine, maybe with RO3, if it comes out, but not with RS2.
P.S. Looked at the graphics again and they look great.
