Need help with exporting my blender model to KF-compatible format

What the title says ^

I've pretty much finished the Mac-11 model which still has a few kinks that need working on. Now we want to get it in-game.

Our coder knows how to get it in-game but only if the custom mesh is in a file format compatible with KF.


  • What file format do we need to use?
  • How would I get this format out of something I've made in blender?

Export it or save it as a .ASE, it works for KF.

Are you talking about a staticmesh or a skeletonmesh?
Staticmesh should be exported as .ASE (ASCII scene) as Olivier said, but skeletonmesh has to be .psk and it usually goes with .psa, which is for the animations

The problem is is that I can't export it as an .ASE. D:

And I'll also need to get it converted.

I'm talking about an animated weapon model. Yomomassis is porting the model into KF, but I gotta do my part with the .blend file I made.

You'll need Blender 'plugins'.
I know there is an ASE one for it somewhere but i'm not sure about the other formats.
Google is your friend.
