I need a quick tutorial on uploading custom maps to my server. I have added the .rom files to the ftp, but i can't get them to come up in my web admin so i can't add them to the rotation. I am not concerned with redirects right now.

Thanks

you might miss alternative files, it depends on the map you got. If you download the map in the original format as presented by the maker it should include all files. If not make sure you get all files you downloaded when you joined the server. And everything needed for it to run as entered in the read me of that map.

I had this problem also when we setup our snipe server. All files were there and still it did not show on the webadmin list. Turned out to be a space in the mapname. Removed the space and the map showed up. Also make sure the map starts with "RO-".
Trivial things, but it might help you out.

You definitely want to make sure you have all files needed for the map. Some Customs use certain mutators etc. everything can be found here and the map will usually show what mutator or other files that are needed.

Once everything is in place you usually have to switch the map by using the SWITCH button in WEBADMIN for the other maps to show up or sometimes a restart of the server may be needed before they will show up. The key here is once you restart the server check your clanserver.log file within this file it will report all errors for maps that are not showing up then you can go to site above and get all those files needed that were reporting errors.

This then should allow the maps to show up on your OFF list then you have to move them over to the ON list and save and update and click USE and then INGAME you should see your newly created list of maps...
