Hello,

unfortunately I managed to spill soda over my keyboard 2 days ago and it finally quit working now after 7 years. It was an Logitech Internet Navigator Keyboard.

I was extremely content with that keyboard because it really had anything you needed, was really comfortable and the key height was perfect for gaming(I can't play with those 5m high keys from old microsoft keyboards and neither with flat laptop buttons). So I want something as similar to it as possible, but it shouldn't cost more than 30€ MAX. and of course it should be pretty modern. Since I'll need it primarly for gaming I ask here.

also it should preferably have this thing where your arm can lie on as seen on my old keyboard

I ussually get the cheapest media keyboard, since it's bound to get hit by fists. I have the cheapest Logitech media keyboard. It's kinda ok. At least it has a long backspace, unlike some other keyboards.

I was in the same boat as you last month and after reading every possible review/comment out there about Logitech and Microsoft keyboards, I settled for Logitech MK300.

It looks pretty modern(looks awesome with my other PC stuff), key height is middle way between a classical keyboard and a laptop one. This also makes the keyboard quite silent. I placed the receptor pretty close, so I don't have any reception issues. The only issue there is that there's no LED indicator for Caps/Numlock, so you'll have to watch out while you type. I mostly use shift key for Caps, so it's not a problem.

Wireless mouse is not spectacular though(clicks are LOUD). Sadly they don't sell this keyboard alone, so you'll have to get it too.

Overall, highly recommended :)

I have Logitech UltraX. Looks nice and cost 20 euros a few years ago. I used to unload my rage on keyboards and stuff when I was a teenager.

I got one of the microsoft ergonomic keyboards. they take about 2 weeks to get used to, however they are EXTREMELY comfortable for longer gaming sessions (especially with the built in wrist pad)

I read that ergonomic keyboards don't work well with mouses?

uhh, Im not sure if I completely understand what your trying to get at; I have had no mouse related problems with my keyboard... ( you mean software or hand discomfort or what?)

I use an el-cheapo Microsoft ergonomic keyboard (wired, probably 4 years old). Just pulled it out of the closet when my old Keytronic finally quit on me. Works beautifully. Until wireless technology gets MUCH better, I'm sticking with wired.

Well I read on a site that the use of an ergonomic keyboard does not work very well together with a mouse, I suppose in terms of hand comfort etc.

And how is it for writing? (as for writing a text with 10finger system)
