Came across this today in a server, populated by only my friend and me, both Firebugs.

Reminds me of TF2 and pyro flamethrower effect getting stuck on the air like that. Haven't seen it yet on KF2 but still rather hilarious to watch.

I've seen it a few times, as well. My hypothesis is that it happens when someone firing a flame weapon is killed, and the effect sticks for some reason. But I'd have to test it to be sure.

The other players on the server when I saw it couldn't see it, though. *shrug*

I've been trying to track this down. I have a theory, so I doubt it will be long until I find a fix.

This happened in a server where only my friend and I were playing, but neither of us had died yet.

Also, though I am slightly less sure on this, this flame appeared in a room neither of us had been in yet, so no one was shooting their weapons in that spot (note the lack of blood or damage to the room).

I found the cause this morning. It will be fixed in the next patch.
