Mac My Weapon pack finally appeared. Still not getting Perk XP

After a great deal of wrestling with Steam support, convincing them that "upcoming game pack" and "Community weapon pack" were not the same thing, and turning down a refund, I finally have the weapon pack working.

I do not know if it's because I broke down and installed KF on my bootcamp partition.

So, that works. However, I still don't get XP while playing the OS X version of KF. To be clear, I can buy the new weapons, though. (I *really* like the flare pistol )

Is there hope that I'll be able to play the OS X version sometime before I max out all my perks on the Windows side?

Same for the XP here on MacOS. Despite the update, my XP is not counting
I've tried Solo no mutators and online with 'perks enabled" and without mutators
