The National WWI Museum (US) is located in Kansas City, Missouri which so happens to be my home town. The museum opened about 7 years ago, in which time it has become the most popular museum in the city and a national landmark.
The museum is simply incredible. I have visited 3 separate times since it has opened, and on each visit I probably spent a good 3 hours there. Even then, I'm positive I haven't read, seen, or experienced everything. The museum has a massive collection, and only a percentage of it is actually shown in the exhibit. Every year or so they rotate out parts of the museum and fill it with different stuff.
Last May I decided to visit with my dad on Memorial Day and I had the good sense to take pictures. Granted, I only had my phone camera with me, but I thought I'd share the pictures with you all who would respect this stuff.
Rather than put every single pic here, I'll just give you a link to the album. The pictures I took are only a tiny tiny tiny tiny tiny fraction of what is there, but alas my phone doesn't have nearly enough memory for that
Enjoy!

And to get a better idea of what the museum actually looks like, here's a link to their website:
