Yeah, these people disliking the game are all whiners that can't be constructive, right? I bet all these guys defending the game would also defend RO3 if the game had nazi dinossaurs. Does it make any difference for you that the game is about Stalingrad and WW2? Or it's just a game where you want to kill people? I want a true WW2 game, with the best historical accuracy it can. They also said the core of the game would be exactly like RO1. I'd have no problem if they'd really said it would play a lot different, but the problem is that we would only know about that after the game was released. Seems like you guys bought a banana and got an apple, but as you like apples too, you don't mind getting another fruit.

Also if you wonder why I sound belligerent, it's due to it being the only way to get anyone to listen around these forums since the end of summer. I know I should just stop trying because they WON'T listen anyone, but I'd like the forums we had last year back.

You don't think those people "WON'T" listen to you because it may have something to do with your own attitude?

Seriously, I've had no problems having discussions on here.

You on the other hand have spent this entire thread cussing and arguing.

I seriously have to question your maturity if you think being belligerent is the right behavioral choice for when people don't agree with you.

and you want everyone else with a differing opinion to be banned? Looks to me like you are the one who needs to step away from the computer.

Great post, It's funny the very same persons that gave your post thumbs down don't reply to it. Many people are simply looking for games where they can kill players in MP. Whenever nazi zomebiemode or super mega arcadegameplay is added wouldn't make these people care. That's how the mainstream looks - and that's what most people want. As a matter of fact, 80% of all gamers want that. However, if they want it in RO, they can just turn back and leave this board.

here to kill your monster
Which is worse?

People who constantly complain on public forums because the game isn't what they want it to be or people who complain about these people complaining because they're clogging up the forum with their useless posts?

I'll let you decide.

well your not being objective because you are already saying that any

ok, I understand what you are saying but i still think you can't generalise and and group together evryone who has an issue
ok, here's where i'm coming from.
I was looking forward to the game, but i haven't bought it...yet
I was initially against

I still don't think you can generalise about ppl that have issues with the game.
Neither can you, or any other normal member, dictate the topics of discussion and opinions that are volunteered on the forum.
I understand you may not like a lot of what you read - but if you do enjoy and play the game (and believe me when i say I'm happy for you) at least you don't have to spend all your time here like those don't.

Here's the issue - why DO they spent all their time here? I would like to read general discussion about RO2 here, instead of general whining about RO2.

I hated BF3, do you see me hating on their forums 24/7?

No, because I got over it like a decent human being. The game wasn't for me, I moved on. Why don't you people do the same?

Edit: wow, just checked steam's RO2 forums. They're actually shaping up decently, I think I'll move over to posting in there. Much better than these forums for certain.

Serious question, why do you play it then if you hate it so much:confused:, surely you'd be better of playing something you enjoy, whether or not that's RO2

Serious answer, I paid $60 because I thought CoD WaW was decent (excluding small maps and the overpowered SMG steady aim stopping power) and that Treyarch had the potential to release a good game. However, Black Ops was a complete disaster. I got like 10/1 k/d by sprinting like a crack head spraying shotgun blasts with steady aim. No skill. No tactics. The matchmaking thing is a joke... people leave games when they are losing and everyone votes for next map and leaves if isn't Nuketown or some other bullsh!t frag fest. I did, however, enjoy the game mode with the crossbow! Crossbows are awesome and super fun in FPS. So once I got sick of that I sold it.

RO2 is.... well.... I have like 200 posts about why I don't like it so just click my name. Also, my computer can only run it on low graphics, which looks worse than Ro1 on best. So I really only play Ro2 on my brothers computer when I'm at his house. I'm hoping to make a glorious return in January or so with a new computer and hopefully there will have been radical game play changes/mods/custom maps by that point.

But I'd like the forums we had last year back.

That would be nice, certainly, but were not going to get it unless EVERYONE calms down, including you.

Then you'd better be prepared to lose that bet, because I personally enjoy the game, just like the OP if you didn't notice. But not because I just "want to kill people". I understand you may just be generalising for effect, but it doesn't necessarily help.

Understandable, hopefully when you come back you find more what you're looking for. Personally I enjoy it now but I think a lot of "whiners" issues would be solved with the addition of a true "hardcore" game mode.

I also have a theory, is the reason that so many people who are unhappy with the game are still hanging around because RO2 is the closest modern game to what they're looking for and they're waiting to see if it changes into what they're looking for?

Yes. For instance, I just heavily modded fallout 3 and it's WAY better than vanilla! I played through Fo3 3 years and thought it was decent. Now with hundreds of items, increased realism, increased difficulty, and game play changes that make it more like a skillful FPS than an easy cheesy RPG - I'm having a blast! :)

Every game has those who think they know more than every other player and show their logic by posting that train of thought in forums such as these.

It's one thing to think you know more than every other guy out there, it's another thing when you do know more than every other guy out there (Or Player as you put it)

Besides, isn't that what you're doing right now with that post? ;)

I did the same to F:NV.

With some mods, the combat is close to RO2 style..except the enemies are worse shots..

I just need to find out how to disable the compass thingie.. that'd make the game more of a challenge.
