My sound worked, can't believe it.

Usually my sound goes every match I play. But today I seen a suggestion to put sound settings on low. I done this and have been playing all night without one sound problem.
Funny thing is I don't notice any reduction in the sound quality.
Who's a happy bunny then?

changin it to low sure increases succes chance of audio on next map, but the chance its gone is defintly still there but it feels more of 50/50.

I turned it down and for a while I actually seemed to get better framerates, but it still goes in and out after just one or two games in multiplayer. I haven't had it go out entirely yet with 8 channel sound.

But it generally sounds like garbage if you do this. If you go next to a crackling fire it sounds like a facet or a waterfall.

I thought it was to good to be true, sound started to bug out on map change again, not so often but still bugs out.
This is now getting ridiculous.

I tried it. The sound bug appears less often, but is still there. I'm trying to see if setting a different value of channels can help.

If not already done so try changing windows default sounds option to 24bit 44100.

Also for Realtek audio disable the Realtek Audio Sound Manager and see if that makes any improvement. You may have to use msconfig and disable the sound manager here.

my sounds go's out compleatly on some maps when the map changes my mic will still work but I cant hear nothing,,, when it happens at the start of some maps I can hear a click and then nothing for the whole map and then when the map changes agian I can hear some-more clicks and it will work or it want work agian,,, what can I do to fix this please its driving me crazy not being able to hear nothing,,,

Putting to LOW helps, but doesn't seem to fix the problem. Tonight I tried this:

-LOW QUALITY
-128 CHANNELS

I played for a few hours and the bug didn't appear at all.
