I had trouble with game:
1. launch - OK
2. browsing game menus, mission briefings - OK
3. Launching first map (tutorial) - Total crash
Well I did some things, mentioned here, but without major succes. Short after nervous thinking about Tripwire,
THE IDEA. What about update of old drivers? So I did it by program called Driver MAX (2 driver updates per day for free). Short after update of my graphics driver i restarted my PC and played the game.
Miracle! It works!
While my previous driver was half year old, new one is much better. Now I play singleplayer game without crash. Here is my PC:
CPU: AMD Athlon X2 5200+ AM2
RAM: 4x1GB 800 Mhz Kingston
HDD: 1GB Western digital 7200 rpm
VGA: Radeon 4850 HD 512MB
OS: Windows XP (SP3)
Try to update your VGA driver, It may help you.
