[Video] My new revolver acquisition ...

I've got a new shooting video for you all, featuring my new S&W K-38 Combat Masterpiece, made around 1951. A classic gun and my first "real" revolver -- no offense to my Nagant Revolver hehe :IS2:

I recommend a Ruger SP101 chambered in a .357/.38 special.
I have its little brother which is the .22 variant of the SP101.
I love it. It's a good solid double action revolver that feels good in the hand and smooth on the trigger. If you treat it like a single action its got a hair trigger that make it excellent for target shooting but you can still just unload without having to keep caulking back the hammer.

Why don't you consider the nagant a real revolver?
I'm not claiming that the Nagant isn't deadly -- that would be silly. It was one of the USSR's main service weapons for decades because it served its purpose.

But, compared to this S&W revolver, it's archaic. Ejecting brass takes for ever and often the brass gets stuck, and reloading takes even longer. The rod used to poke out the rounds isn't even spring loaded to make it go faster, like a cow boy style Colt single action. Don't get me wrong, I love my Nagant revolver. But if I only had one revolver to own between the two, it would definitely be the Smith.
