Since it is about communication I'll leave a few points from hearing-impaired man:

- Chatbox is often spammed with loads of text (often useless HUD intel, joining, leaving messages, etc.), so it is not uncommon to overlook something people are writing. Especially when you need to pay attention to what happens before you. Be sure to use micro if you have one.

- Always make sure that the other people can understand you. Not hear, but understand. I usually try to respond, but when I don't understand what someone is speaking I don't answer in any manner for obvious reasons.

i agree..

Solution:
there should be colored text for player chat, and plain white text for useless information messages, this way we would be able to tell them apart.

i wonder if we can change that in our cfg files?

There are a lot of good suggestions about that in "Ideas and Suggestions", but working on chatbox will be done after more important stuff is covered. Comfort is one of the last things to fix on the table. I understand that and weep still anythime I see in-game chatbox...

maybe they didn't speak your language? would be nice if a country flag was added next to each players name in the tab menu like there was on the 29th inf server on darkest hour..
