So earlier today November 24th I was on playing for a few hours and then shutdown the application to go play something else. Well when I booted up the application to put in another session of play on the 25th 12:10am I noticed that my perks and level where both reset to 0. I've been playing this game regularly and was at level 13 with my support as well as had some work put into other classes. I figured it was a faulty login so I closed the app and restarted it with the same result all 0. So I went into my cloud save and copied that over onto my hard drive. Unfortunately my cloud save was a few days behind my current save and I was put at level 8. I don't mind putting in the hours to get back to where I was before, however I was wondering if anyone else has come into contact with this problem. I was also wondering if the Devs have heard anything about this happening to other players.

Yup, it's happened to me twice now. I've put in tickets for both times and haven't had any replies. I was 15 on most classes and 18 on berserker before the first time happened. Then it happened again a few days later resulting in me losing my OTHER releveled berserker, and sharpshooter. It is so frustrating for this to keep happening and yet there's NO help, no compensation and there has to be a way for them to give us back the levels we lost.

We apologize about the inconvenience this bug is causing. There is a bug where visually, the perk information doesn't show up correctly. We're trying to reproduce the problem where it actually isn't a visual issue. Did you receive any notification of corrupt data at any time? Or did you launch the game and the levels were lost without any notification? We're attempting to fix the visual issue so that we can better replicate this problem so the two aren't overlapping.

When it happened to me my game crashed while fighting patriarch on farmhouse. I also got a error on the ps home screen.
When I logged back in my perks were 0 with 0/1580 exp.
I've had the visual issue many times sadly but was smart enough to just join a lobby although twice it completely erased my data and got reset.
I've been playing since both times happened still and it's been fine. But it still really upsets me that I had to restart twice. But what upset me more was when I kept getting the runaround and no actual help.
But best of kuck to all and I hope you giys don't have to go through what I did.

Personally I suspect that a lot of the bugs for the ps4 version is somehow due to some problems with the files packed in kf2 for the PS4 version (bad checksums, bad rights, too fragmented, any or all) . The reason I suspect that is simply because I have had some of the most mentioned bugs on this forum happening to me and it happened almost daily until I rebuilt my ps4 database.
I have had similar experiences in 1 other game before and it all went away after rebuilding the database, just like it did with KF2 for me.
I'm not saying it's a sure fix, maybe the issue here is an actual bug and not something that will be fixed by rebuilding the database, but it's worth trying.
Edit: I think Tripwire is interested in knowing if rebuilding helps or not, so please give feedback if it fixes this issue or any other issue you have. Also note that this isn't part of any official troubleshoot AFAIK, so don't blame Tripwire if it doesn't help

Until we can find an official solution to this issue, I recommend everyone set up PlayStation Plus Auto Upload of their save data during Rest Mode. That way if this ever happens to anyone you'll have a cloud backup that is at most 24 hours old that you can re-download to restore your progress. Inventory is tied to your PSN account not local saves so that should never get wiped if the save data is corrupted. If you don't have a Plus Account you can make local backups of saves via USB flash drives.
I've had the same problem, so I'll elaborate. Went from playing co-op to solo on retail ps4 copy, finished a game and closed application, turned off ps4. On next start-up, without an error warning I had the perks reset. Had this problem for a little more than a week, hope this info helps.
