Finally, I got around to publish this map. The theme is a castle turned into a museum and now a defence post against the onslaught of the specimens. The situation is a night attack by the zombies, and it have turned out to be quite hard to hold them off. My clan has yet to defeat the patriarch in this map on hard.

There might be a few secure places I have not seen, but the best tactic seems to be kiting outdoors. Indoors, the rooms are cramped, and sirens always seem to pop up very close and damage the entire party.

Hey your map looks good i like it, but those lights at photo 4 doesnt fit in enviroment at all, could u change em to maybe to candles or torches? it would make it a lot scarier kind of bloomy with candles/torches light effect. :)

Hey your map looks good i like it, but those lights at photo 4 doesnt fit in enviroment at all, could u change em to maybe to candles or torches? it would make it a lot scarier kind of bloomy with candles/torches light effect. :)

I came up with a rocking lamp, with an attached light to it. Then that moving light will cast moving shadows..... oh yea epic.

I didnt know where to post this concept, but im just sharing my ideas to anyone who cares ^^

You should post it :p I'm making my first map (and it's turning out to be quite large and it looks very good so far) and I'd like to see how to make moving lights :D

I must disagree with you here. The castle is not plucked out of the 14th century. It was build around there, maybe a bit earlier (the curtain wall has square tower, pointing to 13th century, but the towers of the keep are round). The stable is a later addition, the wooden superstructure no more than 300 years old on the outside.

The interior is not antique, it is a museum with electric lights everywhere but the great hall and the church. It is patchy due to the outbreak, and candles has been brought in to supplement power lines that might go down every moment. And you will find modern structures everywhere in the castle, modern paintings and artifacts in exhibition cages, office landscape, workshop and kitcen upstairs, and of course the left-behinds of a group of soldiers.

The torch-lit castle in a modern setting is a pet peeve of mine. I think it ruins the atmosphere completely, unless you can have a setting with a cult of crazies.

After a kind walkthrough by KEPT I have updated the map in a new hope of getting it on the whitelist. A room has been removed, an obnoxious bed thrown out, and railings have been added to avoid visitors falling down on unintended surfaces. :)
