Bugs that have gotten in the way of gameplay:


Stats (KDR/tanks killed/etc) are corrupted and show wrong numbers. Levels can go haywire as well. Squad Leader never gets XP, and is markedly more broken than other stats.

Sometimes the first shot after iron-sighting doesn't fire.

rogame.exe has stopped working. (haven't gotten this in a while, considering putting it as resolved)

Audio crackles when set to 128 channels

Audio settings revert to default after changing them

Close range hit detection

16:10 FOV is vert-

AVT stats record as SVT

Weapon add-ons can't be toggled. Not exactly a bug, but is a very bad design decision in cases like the MKB's scope.

Scrolling in the map voting page doesn't work. The map voting selection screen resets to the top of the page when the selected item scrolls out of range. Because of this, many people will never vote on maps not right at the top of the list. I recommend moving chat to the right side, and giving more room to the vote screen and vote selection screen. It's bad UI design to have a 1920x1200 monitor show only 5 maps from the list.

The "times played" counter on maps is always listed as 0.

Picking up weapons sometimes doesn't work. Item pickups need to be more consistent, and need to be able to be bound to a separate key from the cover key.

Hit detection with proned players. 200 T34 rounds once went right through a proned player's head and chest that were poking out above a small hill. A 2nd player has confirmed this bug as well. This is a rare bug, and doesn't relate to general hit detection issues.

TT33 clearly selected in the loadout screen, but I would get Nagant Pistol. Confirmed by switching to Nagant and back to TT33, but still spawned with Nagant. Confirmed by another player recently.

If your respawn wave hits right as the round ends, you can actually move around next round during the warmup timer. You can't move your mouse, but WSAD + sprint works. This lets lucky players have 7 extra seconds to get into position, and results in tons of spawn killing when it happens.

I was autoswitched to Axis for balance, but the Assault class (and only the assault class) was still showing russian weapons in the loadout section (I was switched to german). I was playing russian assault before the switch, so I'm guessing the bug is tied into this. Very minor, but made me :confused:.

75 fov max instead of 90 (TWI has confirmed that this is on the todo list, so it is on the bottom)



Resolved:

Can't reload, fire gun, or enter iron sights at all until weapon is switched. Rarer but much more severe than above bug.
-I only got this once. If anyone gets this bug, please post.

misaligned scope. rare but it still happens.
-Only happened a few times.

My last play session was alright aside from getting killed by the non-fire bug a couple times and crashing out from rogame.exe after an hour of playing. I noted a couple bugs on the map selection screen and have added them. I also experienced a cover bug again, so I added it to the list.

I had 60 ping in a 32 man server, and gameplay was so much smoother because of it. Reducing server load (which will reduce ping as less ticks are skipped) can't be truly classified as a bug, but it should be at the very top of TWI's list.

I'll also confirm this one for the axis C96. I believe it's a result of stats incorrectly reflecting your true class level.

I found that SL stats are given to commander.

Also, sometimes friendly players shows up in enemy uniform. This has happened a few times. Dead body in Russian uniform and dead player ARE on my side. I get a TK.
I've doubled checked several times on this. Only noticed this playing on the German side.

Thanks for the feedback guys.

Of course I'm looking for confirmation for all of the bugs that I list, and I hope we can provide more info in order for TWI to nail down the bugs.

Just got off of another playthrough and found 3 more bugs. Tank movement is glitchy and teleports at 150+ ping (soldier gameplay was just fine on the same server). My main tank MG was firing right through an enemy's body at 60m (same 150 ping game). He was stationary and 150 rounds (or 2 full reloads) went right through him. Tracers were passing through his body.

The final bug is a loadout screen bug after getting autobalanced. It's at the bottom of the list.

Added the bug where you can move before the round starts (during the 7 second warmup timer). It's caused by getting your respawn wave right when the round is ending, and it results in unfair advantages and spawn killing.

Also added the un-toggleable weapon add-ons. Really becomes a pretty major gameplay flaw as you keep leveling up.

Cleared out a few ping related issues that didn't belong.

2. If you join a map, Standard Class is Assault. Sometimes you can spawn as assault when just select continue (without click any class) even if the Role is full.

3. Double Iron sight bug.

4. Allies that look like enemies but count as Team kills (but name is written in enemies team color) happened to me 3 or 4 times.

5. F4, F5 "agree, disagree" wont work.

6. Arty marker gets bigger with every click

7. When switching weapons while change position (prone, stand...) you get bugged between those.

8. Ridiculous jumping Ragdolls, after Killing someone with a simple Bullet.
