I'd really like to have a couple of mutators. One allows for adjustment of the class limits on a map and the other let's me change the types of tanks on a map to those of the same side of course. Are these even feasible?

Certainly feasible. Particularly the tank swap mutator. IM not sure what yo mean by "class limits." Are you refering to the number of players that can occupy each slot?

what I mean by class limits is like adjusting how many snipers you can have on the map, or the amount of sapers. I suppose I should also add that these need to be server side mutators. I'd like to be able to run a server where the russians can have rifle infantry on arad or adjust barashka to have another stug to replace a pziv

How customizable do you need it? Whoever's going to program it needs to know.

It sounds like you want a per-map swap instead of a general swap, so there would need to be a database of sorts containing every map on that server's tank and role information.

I want to be able to pick an individual tank, or a few of them for each side and be able to replace them with a different tank for that respective side. Basically think of being able to upgrade the equipment.

For class roles I just want to be able to increase the amount available of a certain role that is already provided by the mapper. So I'd have to be able to pick from any role, or multiple roles on either side, that is already present on a map (might be nice to not have unlimited stg44s on nabruska lol).

Beyond that I'm not sure by what you mean "how customizable do i want it?" Yes it would be a per map thing and I would have to be able to use different values each time a map is played (basically giving a unique experience each time) If you need any more info about it please let me know and I'll try to elaborate.

I suppose a database wouldn't be a problem, just need to know what language (sql or whatever) and what type of database (access, oracle, etc)

alright did a little research and found exactly what i need to affect with the mutator(s)

1st off need to alter individual vehicle factories (i.e. PanzerIIIFactory or ROVehicleFactory). Maybe be able to differentiate between the different factories by their location information and be able to change the type of vehicle they create (SVehicleFactory.VehicleClass).

the other thing I need to have access to is map specific RORoleInfo. More specifically I need to know what individual classes have limits set (ROGEAssaultH for example) and I need to be able to change those limits.

I hope this helps someone or gives someone ideas on how to help me get started :)
