Mutator Whitelist gone?

Hello,

yesterday I wanted to try out a mutator that changes the ZEDs to Halloween Sideshow ones (bunny scrake etc.) and another one that changed the sounds of ZEDs to the mod sounds, so I started a local solo game and suddenly I got the achievement "Elephant gun".
I also host a dedicated server with Marco's (greylisted) Bots mutator and a friend of mine I play there with told me, that he had gained perk progression and it stayed even after the game.

Does anybody have informations on this?

No it's not. I was playing on my custom server yesterday then went to solo ice breaker for the achievement and upon winning I got no achievement because I was blacklisted for playing on a custom server and forgot to restart my game.

That doesnt sound weird at all, in fact its sounds about right.

Instead of running and shooting to see if you gained perk progression why not do the most simplest thing and just open up KillingFloor.log and searching SECURITY CHECK FAILED
This goes for everyone, this is more reliable and you dont have to spend time gain progression.

So as you can see, there is no way i can gain any perk progression Whitelisting on mutators will probably never go away, we cant have a mutator that allows aiming botting, for all perks to gain lvl 6 with only one hit to any enemy while supplying the players with infinite ammo, hp, dosh, & armor, all weapons and allowing all achievements to be unlocked. AND even though the players get all weapons, all DLC weapons can be bough even if the players dont own said DLC.

It's fault of devs. They saying that its dlc but why I have this called so "DLC" already installed on my hard drive? It's not downloadable content at all. When they delete it from my PC and allow me download this only after I pay money, it would be DLC. For now it's not.

It's not "Downloadable Content" it's more of "Disc Lock Content". There are other games that do this and still today (Destiny for instant). While I know the dlc weapons are already used in game and can be used all willy nilly without owning said dlc, They too most likely know and it's probably due to the limitation of the engine.
But that's not the point of this thread

@Eisbaer: is the mutator you are using the All Event Zeds? Cause people are telling me that they are gaining. The voice changer is WL but I don't think it works with any of the event Zeds since it's only ment for the standard Zeds.
as for your friend, either he is crazy or TWI is as they didn't tell us something.

That's true, but majority of community wants to level their perks and get all achievements so they are "forced" to stick to whitelisted things.

UE games require everyone playing together have the same content. The only time it isn't necessary for this to be installed on all clients is when it's necessary to run a portion of the game. Take DLC map packs; these don't need to be installed unless you actually have the DLC because you wouldn't otherwise be exposed to them.

Exactly this. The comparisons to other games is that you you redownload the same content that you own but it has a check on it to say "I own it". Normally it's within your content but not shown that you have it. This is so you can load it on other players (like COD for example with weapons or weapon skins) but not use it yourself.

It works the same but slightly different on all other games. Just with KF, it's in your face to know it's still there. I don't mind either way.

Yeah it was the All Event Zeds and yes again, it doesn't work with the event ZEDs. ^^
But I have tried it out today again and I progressed from exactly 7300 headshots with sharpshooter to 7330 headshots in one round while playing with a bot on my own dedicated server (and even the command line told me that the security check failed for bots mutator), quit Killing Floor just to be sure, restarted in solo game and I had 7330 headshots.

Edit: I mean it's not like I mind or something. XD I enjoy having a bot as a companion when I play alone so I simply set the bot config to 2 slots. Could that be of any relevance? Although I don't think so...

Do you have like a recording program? I would like to see this mutators enabled and saving perk progression.
How about you try to unlock a achievement, any achievement with these Muts on.
At lease then we might have some actual hard fact evidence.

I played with 2 friends yesterday and unlocked the "Man of Steel" achievement for beating Foundry on suicidal, "Departure Lounge" for beating Filth's Cross on hard, "Racoon King of the Dark Forest" for Wyre on hard and the "Summer of 2009" achievement for beating Wyre, Bedlam and Foundry on hard. All while the bots mutator was active. The two friends got the achievements too btw.
I'll see what I can do about the video... I tried recording tutorials earlier for CS:GO but my framerate drops really hard whenever I record...

@Benjamin: I'm not sure if you want a serious answer to that question, but if you do: It is my signature and will therefore be displayed everytime I write a post.

So I managed to record a video, but a word of warning: It is bad quality and I have a big cut in the middle... This is due to FRAPS having a restriction of a few seconds for videos. I tried to click on record again everytime it stopped but in the heat of battle I forgot it once. Well anyways I hope you can see the result.

Just for those that are annoyed by gigantic signature images taking up a good portion of the screen, you can block said images with AdBlock by right-clicking them and selecting "Block element". You're welcome.
