I've never been a fan of map voting, as no one ever votes for the maps I want. :p In my experience the majority wants stock maps for whatever reason.

I'd rather the commander gets the vote.

I'd like to see at least two to three maps per sector with them only replayable in reverse. For example, if the Germans win Station by attacking, but lose a later map, they'd have to defend if the Allies chose it. Seems logical.... I think now, the Allies could choose to attack or defend.

I don't understand what command power done during the match. Someone can explain this(together with command cost)?

Other, I endorse this campaign multiplayer, it is addictive, stimulate people to play more instead a single match. I feel like to be part of a war :D

I hope Tripwire will work on this, it will be a pity to lose all of this great work.

Some advanced grand strategy-functionality could work nicely in this mode.

For example, giving Commanders the ability to retreat in order to save the remaining reinforcements and cancel an attack (or leave the field to the attackers before getting completely annihilated).

Right now 2 of 6 full 64ers are running the campaign! Ramm said "let me hear full servers voice to convince us" :D Ramm, full campaign servers are doing it right now ;)

Because a lot of peeps out there have a slow Internet bandwith and don't sub'd all custom maps :p
I would only go for a custom map if the other choice is FF, it's pretty much a reinf. grave for Axis (even if I don't enter the server before it's over..).

Someone can explaine in deep this campaign multiplayer?How it works?What feature miss?I played for around 4 or 5 hours today, but I don't know a lot of thing. I know only that this is the best thing that Tripwire done.

Addictive, I saw a lot of people that played without pausing for all the afternoon and evening. Amazing.

This should be the default mode in my opinion.
Unfortunately the campaign webadmin page has been removed...any way to get it back to this build?

Do you have the old web folder from the server. You should probably be able to fish things out and put them in :p

Just finish playing on a full 65 man server on campaign. Same type of headache of playing a full TE 65 man server. 2 or 3 campers in every corner and maps not advancing past the first cap. I love this game mode but its not attractive if one cant apply tatics.

Despite that , very happy to see so many interested.

Had a good time in the [40-1] CLAN UK #2 CLASSIC CAMPAIGN (109.70.149.158:7789) today but then people voted for a custom map I got an error that prevented me from playing more.

Is this a problem on my end?

I'd also like to see stuff like that added, suppose the only problem would be if the commander was intentionally trying to do the team over (like retreating at the start of a round) and considering how competitive games can get (i've seen people switching teams to block/misuse a role just to mess things up for the other team numerous times) it could be exploited.

I also don't understand tripwire's silence regarding this mode, especially considering it was meant to be part of the game from launch. The only thing I can think of is that they're saving the official release to coincide with Rising storms or something.

This MPC is really enjoyable to play, it keep people playing to continue the progression and adds a lot more fun than simply mapvote the same map over and over.. need some fixes a lot of little bugs like messages which says at the end of match that we don't have power battle to attack even if we actually attack and choose next territory to attack, or the loose of a batle when each team reach 0 reinf, or somethimes classes 'Squad Lead for example) that are "blank and unselectable"... and things like that.

I would love to this this gamemode improved, and released!

sounds about right. this would be best played on a server with a limit of about 40 and a good admin present to keep an eye on the players.

After playing a bit on the 40-1 Classic Multiplayer Campaign sever for a while I noticed a couple of things.

1. the winning team just votes to defend for the most part
2. the attacking team, given that only stock maps are run, are always at a disadvantage
3. the losing sides position becomes only worse and worse as they are forced to attack until man power runs out.

Also several times, on Pavlov's House and Red October, even though my team was slated to defend on the tactical screen, we ended up on the attacking anyways in game.

Maps like Red October, FF, and Commisar's House are still a pain to play on Classic as the attackers - basically resulting in a huge waste of manpower for any team unlucky enough to attack on those maps.
