I notice when playing this game does not have multicore support, Core 1 will maybe be at like 80%, core 2 at like 20, and 3 and 4 are like 3%(probably from other programs) So sometimes my frames drop to 30-40 when there is a lot of specimens close by.

I don't know if multicore can be enabled through an update, but it really needs to be dual core threaded.

More over the game doesn't need it I mean I have a 2.5ghz dual core Pentium D and it runs the game on full whack perfectly fine on the one core. Most dual or quad core CPU's will handle the game well with 1 core using more would take up much developers time to code it in on atleast 3 OS'.

"D" is for dual. I have a D 805 2.7G (Prescott) myself and can say there are indeed 2 cores. The difference is Ds use P4 architecture, which is ok because it's still a dual core, but a core2duo w/ a slower clock speed will outperform a D.

afaik, even UE3 only supports 2 cores.

Ummm, not to troll here or anything, but...if Core 1 isn't even at 100%, what are you complaining about? If Core 1 isn't running full-out at 100% and you're getting below whatever performance you want, then your issue is elsewhere...

I see your point that you want all the cores used, but the fact is that this game at the moment will barely use a SINGLE core of most modern dual and quad core processors...
