Yes I know its a MKB42 and how I got it idk I just got it.

Come launch day (I Imagine) if you purchased the DDE, you will have the MKb42 unlocked for use.

In the current beta its apparently a bug that sometimes people spawn with it.

The MKb 42 was basically the prototype for the StG 44.

In real life mostly Open bolt vs closed bolt operation, ingame - you still have your bullet spewer that kills people.

I picked up the AVT 40 (Which is sort of like the StG44) and it feels very similar to an SMG. I think its just more accurate and easier to fire single shots with.

I was in a FF server were both the MKb42 and the ATV40 was available for the axis and allies respectively, and although it was Apartments you could also get the PTRS and its german counterpart.

Kinda weird seeing everyone running around with MKb's and ATV's only, while I was going around with a pistol and PTRS in CQC

Imagine merging only the best traits of a MP40 and a G41 and combining them into one weapon. Except the recoil is a bit higher in full auto than the MP40, and the bullet speed, drop, accuracy and stopping power is slightly worse than the G41. You will barely notice this though.

Overall it is by far the superior weapon to have. Infantry with this weapon have no weakness. They are fully flexible and suited for almost every commonly encountered situation.

I'd love to sample the Mkb and the AVT before the game launches.

I aquired them both the Mkb and the AVT,it happened when I was getting best scores in my team and asked me to choose of class and weapon though kicking the weaker player of this role.

When I choose on the german side the Mp-40 the Mkb was given to me by bug I guess and on the russian when I chose the SVT,the AVT was given by bug also...
