The MP40/II was heavy and unbalanced during initial field testings, and thus inaccurate at range. Could this be reflected in-game?
Its non-existance should be reflected in-game by removing it completely from RO II (along with the MkB 42, AVT 40, and revolver Silencer).Could this be reflected in-game?

No, silencers were never issued to any kind of regular infantry, which is what RO depicts.
I think it's quite clear that TW failed to attract casual players with these prototype weapons and they should at least be removed from realism mode. Then we can at least play the game that was advertised those months we were strung along. Its non-existance should be reflected in-game by removing it completely from RO II (along with the MkB 42, AVT 40, and revolver Silencer)..

They where issued to commandos, advanced scouts, partizans, NKVD specialists, that sort of thing, but they were never frontline issue, ever, and thus has no place in a game that revolves around frontline infantry.
Hell the M1895 itself is a bit dubious for this game, let alone the silencer, the only reason it was still in service was because there wasen't enough TT-33's to go around, but the people on the frontlines were favoured when handing out the TT-33's, and it was the reserves who were likely to end up with the Nagant.
It's not out of the question for the gun itself to have been there, and the fact that's it's nowhere near as good as the TT-33 will automatically ensure that most people would choose the Tokarev, so i'm ok with the M1895 beeing in the game, but the friggen silencer? Issued to frontile infantry? No friggen way!
The day we have maps revolving around Partizans and special NKVD missions, then we could talk about the silencer, then it might belong, but not for enlisted men in Stalingrad, that is nothing short of fantasy and makebelive.
Let's add the M712 schnellfeuer, Bayonets for snipers, and 6x scopes for the selfloading rifles to the list whilst we're at it.
Ohh and the post-war winter trigger-guard for the Kar, post war refurb plum bolts for SVT-40's, and various post Stalingrad weapon markings on several of the guns, not to mention late 1944 model PPSh-41's without the mode selector, all of that needs a tuneup.
Oh no... i have to use the MP40/II nowi reached Level 25 today... it

Must admint, if there is to be a 'Realism' mode then the gear availablility should at least take a respectful nod toward what was actually present at the time.I think it's quite clear that TW failed to attract casual players with these prototype weapons and they should at least be removed from realism mode.
