The add/remove bayonet button for stocks would indeed be sensible.

Ballistic Weapons for UT2k4 had some weapons which had a unfoldable stock. You could easily do that by pressing a button on the mouse or keyboard and fold it again if you hit the button/key again.
Sadly I couldn't find any videos on youtube showing those particular weapons.

Yeah, the SAR, and some other guns have a option to do that. I always played with BW and it really helps.

Anyways, I think it should just be implemented in the game as the bayonet deploy mg button, but there should be some advantages to having less recoil like for example I saw in a other post that the melee wouldn't work as well with the stock, that could be a disadvantage to having the stock open.

I don't see why the "fix bayonet, mount MG" button can't be the same button used to open and close collapsible stocks.

perhaps they could do the thing they do in forgotten hope 2: when spawning or getting in then out of a vehicle with the mp40 you see your guy fold/unfold the stock. Simple but adds to the immersion.

Yeah but the handling is individually managed in RO through recoil. The accuracy is separate from the handling in RO.

Yes yes, YOUR shots would be more accurate due to better control, but the weapon itself wouldn't be.
