Mp 34

[Waffen_SS]

First of all I'd like to say that I'm new to the forum and new to this game and I' looking forward to being able to play it (hopefully beta). Been waiting for a game like this.

Anyway, this is just a small post with small hope for getting the MP 34 into the game. It was a weapon used by the Waffen SS so you can clearly see why i would want it. Also because it has a different look than all the other guns. Just wandering if you would include it.

MP 34 saw little to none use in the ranks of Wehrmacht, and since there were no Waffen SS combat troops in Stalingrad and the game is hardly going to portray the few SS security and liaison officers who were present in Stalingrad, it

Well Red, the Mkb42 is obviously in the game, so if this weapon get there why not see this gun as a hero weapon? But I'd rather switch it for the MP28/II as more of those were available. This smg would be nice for close quarters as even a bayonet could be attached to it. If TWI doesn't get it in a custom update might do. Just btw I remember that the MP28 was in the mod. Well there was no model for it but still you could equip soldiers with that gun.

ah my dyslexia got the better of me and i read the whole thing wrong. anyways my point was that if i already have lots guns that are better models why do i need a weaker gun.

we have the expirmental version of the of the mp44 the mp40 why do we need a mp34. especially since that it wasn't used hardly at all and the gun ins't as good as a mp40 or 44. :IS2:

It was actually better than the MP40 and was considered the Rolls Royce of SMGs at the time, I believe it even had a bayonet attachment, the only reason it fell out of favor was because of it's cost to manufacter.

Best smg comes from Finland and is called
Suomi m31

(British wartime weapon testings also ended up to that
solution, but they thought that m31 was absolutly too
expensive for them or any other big army)

Effective range = 200m
Rate of Fire = 750-900 rounds/min
Feed system = 40, 50 box or 71 round

And still really controllable as you can see from this video

Second is Italian MAB 38A

Effective range = 250
Rate of Fire = 600 rounds/min
Feed system = 30, 40 box

After those you can start to list those mass produced
Mp, sten and ppsh guns.

I agree with your first sentence. But what makes you think that the suomi is better than our mp34?


Yes, the Mp34 most expensive (and proberly best) mp of world war 2. I would really like to see it ingame!
If the Mkb42 is ingame the mp34 should be considered too,
as it was proberly more common than the Mkb42.

Quality does not make a gun the best SMG in WWII. Suomi m31 had some serious drawbacks to be the best SMG. It was way too expensive for the small Finnish army too. They never got enough of them. And it was way too timetaking to manufacture too. Suomi m31 was a very fine SMG, but it was not an ideal weapon for battle weapon. Just the same like the MP34. Cost, quality and effectiviness were packed together best in PPSh-41.

0 to 100km/h in 18s, top speed 145 and cost under 1'000
