Mouse lag occurs after a few waves

Ok so i start the game with mouse lag off as mouse lag on lags me. But then after a few waves my movement and mouse is laggy, everything registers after 1 second, so i go turn on reduce mouse lag and its fixed but lags everything? How do i fix this?
