Mosin Nagant feels weird and vests.

I thought about bringing this up after the 1st beta wave but seeing it is same in the 2nd im gonna share my thoughts. By weird i mean that the damage it does is inconsistent. At times i will 1-shot-kill with it but at other times (more than i would like) it will take more than 1 body shot to do the job. That wasnt the case in ro2, where most of the time a body shot meant insta death. Seeing as US Army/Marines can equip vests, does that somehow contribute to the inconsistent damage ?

Vests are clearly for a look only, they also do not protect from any schrapnel pieces or bullets.

Hit boxes have been re-worked a tad. The "max-damage" area is aparantly smaller than earlier games for the chest, so you're more often hitting areas that give a lesser damage multiplier.

I personally blamed the less-than-stellar hit detection (and arm jitters....) rather than the vests, but aparantly its also the different hit-boxes.

We're aware that there are some frequent "strange happenings" surrounding chest shots and their lack of lethality. We're looking into it.
