Firstly yes, there is always room for improvement in games.

Secondly, I'll just leave this here

Tbh I don't really wanna see any ww2 games except for RO2 & mods. Modern Warfare/Future Warfare/Sci-Fi etc. just offers such much more to do, people just need to realize that instead of making modern warfare clones only.

True, if only more devs made original products instead of rehashing the same crap.

What a shortsighted statement. WW2 games don't have to be copies of MoH:AA/CoD either, you know. The possibilities for games are endless, regardless of the time-period.

But I guess if moving a series from ww2 to Modern Warfare (tm) is considered a radical, highly innovative move then yes, sci-fi offers even more possibilties... We could have glowing guns instead of regular guns, people! Still CoD but glowing! And instead of tanks rolling over your head we could have tanks hovering over your head! Imagine the possibilities!

Well sorry but that's wrong. I assumed we're talking authentic WW2 games, and of those we can not have endless innovative products. Alone the time period of 1945-2010 offers 10x more stuff and future warfare/sci-fi/dystopias are unlimited in creativity, wheras in authentic WW2 games you'd always have to stick to certain points.

IMO WW2 games have been done as much as generic modern warfare games.

Gameplay is not really limited by the weaponry. I mean COD games all feel the same and play the same whether they are modern warfare or 2nd world war.

RO feels different, than other WW2 games or other shooters. Its the feeling of games and the quality that I care about.

Whether it would be Modern Warfare a Space Game or a WW2 game. If anything game play wise I would like to see some more medieval games like mount and blade. Or a nice pirate/ninja game.

It should be the game play that differentiates game not the setting or time period.
