i mean its already pretty much a sub machine gun perk so might as well complete the set you could add a mp5 smg or a ak74u smg some other smg add 2 more smgs they dont necessarily need to have the healing ability but they receive the bonus benefits much like the mac10. i wonder if anyone else has thought of this . . . . for now ill leave this open for debate

Medic is NOT a damage perk.

He already has god tier armor, speed rivaling that of a berserker, and healing abilities that can bring one from "bleeding knackered" to full health in seconds, ntm that nifty little MP7 for trash. What more could any (reasonable) man want?

Go back to cowadooty.

There was a thread about that. Search before you post.

Also, just wait till IJC weapon pack gets new whitelisted version, there's a very cool medic rifle.

like i said illl leave this open for debate you guys can figure it out although the other smgs could be balanced out so they do more damage and heal less or heal more and do less damage the medic gun could be bumped up to a tier 3 weapon and then thered be 2 new lesser smgs with healing abilitys for tier 1 and 2 tier 1 has a greater healing effectiveness then the other 2 but lacks in fire power tier 2 has greater firepower then both but has less effective healing and of course the medic gun would be balanced for both so lets say you prefer to heal more then attack your get more medic points but poor kill count but if you prefer to attack more then heal your get less medic points and a better kill count for tier 2 and of course theres the medic gun for if you prefer neither so theres a certain balance between them thats how i would do it but honestly its up to TWI to balance that stuff out not me as for which ones thats up to you guys

forget about the devs, support the modders. if youre level 6 everything you can stop worrying about whitelisted stuff and start playing with allll the custom stuff.

if youre not lvl 6, then just go back to leveling up.

also, use at least a bit more of punctuation and paragraphing in your posts, it makes my eyes bleed to read that.

if you arent worried about leveling up EVERYWHERE, there are servers you can level perks on, no matter what they have running, but you can only level up on those, unless the same person is running multiple servers sharing the same stats file, then you can level up between those servers.

usually when they run the "per server stats", they will run lots of un-whitelisted stuff, like extra guns and whatnot. so go to those for extra medic guns.

on mine the medic gets lots of things, a medic scar, medic ppsh, medic mg34, medic shotgun (not the one released by that one guy, it shoots shotgun bullets that heal), medic m79, and so on. i'm thinking about adding a medic tommy gun or medic sten.

hmm a healing shotgun would be neat especially if it was a combat shotgun

The M7A3 on the KFL server was modded to act a bit like a shotgun with medic darts, shooting about 3 per shot. It was really effective against really, really fast L20 Ravagers that zipped around like headless chooks.

how about a 9mm bizon?

Seconded!

Make this happen! I'd like one or two more weapons for the medic. It just feels like you gimp your teams damage output when I'm playing a medic. :( It'd be nice to have something to be able to justify that sacrifice.

Note, I am not looking for a damage buff. Just a couple semi high capacity smgs that hit like a wet noodle. You know, for those times when you need to defend yourself, or to hose down a group of zeds that have surrounded a teammate so you can heal.

The mp7 needs another counterpart. It just leaves the class with an unbalanced feel to have to rely on unperked weapons when you really need to shoot.

No one said he was a damage perk.

Check out my above post.

Oh yeah:

Where is the downside to playing "support specialist"? That is a support class, like the medic is it not? Not only does the support specialist get herculean carrying capacity and insta welds, but he gets INSANE gun damage (and grenade damage that rivals the demo) and ammo capacity. Where is the down side to that, eh? You have a downside to bringing a medic as a support class, but where is the downside to bringing the support?

Medics get armor, speed, heal, and weapon capacity bonus. I don't think this even comes within pissing distance of the insane benefits of the support perk. See again, "support specialist". In my opinion, the words support specialist don't exactly make one think of the premier damage dealer on any team. They need to change the name, or nerf or nix some of the bonuses to make it actually support. Instead of "the go to instant win" that it is.

Why don't the rest of the perks (excluding commando, he has the oh so usefull ability to see stalkers at arms length) get a nifty support feature like insta welds?

*note: I'm not anti support. Just trying to shed some light on the "medics dont need guns" argument, which is a little close minded imo.

well thats why this thread is here to find a couple of more guns for medic i still think a healing combat shotgun would be a nice addition to medic you could alt fire with it and heal more then 1 team mates at the same time if the round happens to hit them
