Could TWI possible add more Heavy Metal to Killing Floor? The music is what makes me want to head-bang while killing zombies with my M32 Nade Launcher at 3 in the morning, But i find the songs repeating rather much. So could TWI possible add more Heavy Metal, I bet everyone would appreciate it very much.

I think you'd have to ask zYnthetic, TWI's ultimate heavy metal specialist and general sound extroadinare.

This ^

zYnthetic also released a new album, Soundtrack for the Apocalypse and it's packed full of win.

Also, Dirge (Ramm's band) have plenty of songs that they haven't shown us yet, so I'd love to see instrumental re-makes of their music like they've done already like Disunion, Repulse and Defective. They have a myspace page here where they have the original version of Disunion and also "New Father". :IS2:

On Topic: Why not actually get some famous bands to work for TWI musics, like KoRn, Metallica, Disturbed, LORDI? :D

Famous bands? We don't need no stinkin famous bands!

We got zYnthetic, and A) We know that he kicks *** all ready

B) zYnthetic doesn't cost a goddam fortune for each song

C) No matter how good you are at normal, 'entertainment' music, 'background' music is a whole different art to master, particularly with Metal.

Or being able to add a playlist to the game?

I.E To play along with the current KF playlist, yeah you "could" just use itunes. But integrate it so it changes tracks between waves, softens up when peeps talk.

I wouldn't mind trying to compile some tunes for KF over the xmas break, altho it may be too fast for some of you guys (mathcore like guitar) ;)

Are you able to simply import MIDI files? So when you are making a level, you can just make it so that in the KFMusicTrigger, you could activate those songs during certain waves? Of course this would mean when uploading a map to the internet you would also have to include any custom files because otherwise the music or the entire map just won't work. But through this method, you would be able to import classics like the music off the original Doom.
This way, Tripwire would not need to go to the trouble, all that would need to be done is for individual ameteur programmers to create levels with custom music.

But it's cool. :[

It'd be nice if KF had a story, it could be playing in some propaganda video. :IS2:

Also, it was a mistake to use it as an example of british music. :v
