Some of you guys are ridiculous. I'm mostly repeating what others have said bits of here and there, but maybe someone doesn't want to fight for their life; maybe they just want to tear **** up? When I had low level classes, it never once even crossed my mind that the level 6 players were hurting my level progress. I just played the game, did my part and got excited when I leveled. If all you can really think about while playing the game is raising your level then why are you even playing the game? What about those that only have level 6 classes? That's like saying we aren't allowed on servers just because you have levels to earn or because we've actually put time into our game. I see way more low levels on Suicidal and HoE than I see level 6 on Normal and Hard. Level 6 may be overpowered for Normal/Hard, but at least we're qualified for the difficulty.

If it bothers you that much, host your own server and kick level 6 players. If you can't host, find a new server.
Don't complain about player levels on a public server, unless the server requests specifics (i.e. "HoEserver/Level5+Only", or in your case, "Normalserver/Level5-").

why do i play on hard with lvl6? mainly two reasons: friends i play with are low lvl, and i like to help them improve their skills/perks and secondly ELITIST PRICKS! i just tried to join the only suicidal server available with decent ping and got instabanned... yeah right. i have three perks on lvl 6 and have good knowledge of the game mechanics. maybe i got banned because i had lvl3 firebug chosen from my last game, i didn't even join directly, i spectated and boom off to the main menu.
don't complain about lvl 6 playing easy(<=hard) difficulties if you always kick/ban people who try to join the serious fun without reason.:(
btw there were 2/6 plrs on the server... pw them if you don't want others to join!

passwords don't work properly

Also, I joined a hard diff server as a level 6 medic, for my habitual late night doctoring party, on a icebreaker with 4 people.

A level 6 commando, a level 3 firebug, a level 3 support and a level 4 demo.

I warn that them I go medic, the mando immediately spouts out some dumb reddit meme, which I tell him to never say again for the sake of my sanity. He qualifies me as a nerd as I prove him that "u dont say" isn't a proper sentence and shouldn't be treated as such.

Then, as we approach wave 7, the support switches to level 6 sharpshooter and buys... a m99.

I tell him that I find this weapon is a gamebreaker and that I am very deceived to see him disregard perk progression just to point and click on some fleshpounds and win at all costs.

Next thing I know, there's fleshpounds flying everywhere, one-shot by the gigantism of the mean .50 BMG.

As I keep whining, I save the low level teammates from the trash that the commando doesnt care about and that the support left to reap on the lowbies by switching to the official Monkey Island representative playstyle.

The wave passes, 2K healing points are added to my perk stats, and we come back to the spot, right as a new player joins, but he comes too late and just watches the scene.

The sharpshooter had switched to crossbow. Fleshpounds nearly tear apart the team and only some well placed tanking from my part impeach the horde from wiping our little survivor team. At that point, the spectator tells us that we should lure the FP's into pipes, but I tell him that the need will not arise, as we have "teh best sharpshoter in ERTH".

Guess what happens :
"Mando : hell, i'm tired of this ****** nerd's whining, i'll go get a normal team
Sharpshooter : yeah lets gtfo"

The mando disconnects immediately and the sharp rather decides that he would prefer angering a FP before doing so, luckily to no avail, due to my expertful tanking.

The rest of the game went on without any problems, and the low levels made their way to survival while I encouraged them and kept them at 100 HP.

Morale : It's not about being level 6 and wasting one team's play experience, but it's about whether or not the level 6's are dumb tryhard that only think about winning and give a grand total of 0 ****s about the other player's feelings.

interesting anecdote. my previous ramblings were just a drunk rant, but it pissed me off last night, there are other ways of keeping games private, like starting a listen server over hamachi. i think it's a shame that the small population of suicidal and hoe is kept from growing by throwing people out of games without reason. no wonder the majority plays hard and lower, stuff like that rarely happens there.

The fact people are thrown out of suicidal/hoe games is simply because they are inexperienced level 6s who most likely powerleveled and don't understand the basics. for example, level 6 support joins on hoe asks for money and we all know what happens, he gets an aa12 and goes gun ho on every zed that moves, including scrakes and fleshpounds, wiping the team who had been playing for a half hour, clearly ruining the whole game. that tactic only works on hard and below, and its still ridiculously wasteful and silly. or the level 6 commando who assault rifles scrakes when they see a dilligent support flinch and chinshot thinking theyre helping but really breaking the flinch instantly, killing one of the best players on the team. Nobody wants to play with people like that, though we all know there are people on there that do it every single day, granted they don't do it on purpose they don't know any better. or they simply cant hang on hoe as a level 6 and die instantly and ragequit and go back to hard.

Its been going on for quite a while, but I just don't get why some people play on a Hard difficulty while being a level 6.
To relax! Normal is too easy, Suicidal requires teamwork. Hard is perfect- You can still lose if newbies or idiots on pub servers start doing crazy stuff.
I know 2 excellent players who can kite Patty on 6 man hoe game (and win that game by themselves) and those 2 still enjoy hard game, and support teams and lead them to victory. People you should not like are LVL6 who only possess perk level, and not skill that should correspond with it.

That's rich coming from someone like you, I seen your true colours in a game last night.

I've only ever seen the N word used twice since I've been playing and what was it you said to that support player? "F*** off or learn how to play!"

What did you do because the game wasn't going your way? You tried to ruin my game and the other 4 players on the server by griefing, throwing a grenade at a door that was being welded by that level 2 support player (Kenny) knowing full well that behind that door we had 2 Scrakes, a Fleshpound, sirens and trash and you walked away hoping we'd wipe, then rage quit, that's disgraceful!

Don't try and come off as all helpful and wanting to work with the team, you griefed me last night and tried to ruin that game for the other new players on the server.

That other level 6 support deserved a lesson.
Besides, you were all prepared for the door to break, as it was on low health. I was tired of that level 6 dumbass raging scrakes on me and I wanted him to get away from me, that troll was following me all around so the only solution there was to keep him away from me was to create him a distraction. Guess what it worked.

Like previous players have said, hard is relaxing, suicidal is not. I want to have fun, get some kills and not loose every game because of the noobs joining.

Rent your own server if it

Off topic has been deleted. I also advise to cut off personal remarks, if you have problems regarding personal matters (like other users) deal with them in private, don't use forums for it. Same goes for off topic talks. If you have nothing to add to this thread - on topic - then follow a simple rule: don't post.
