Why is there eyeliner on that first one?

Also I really really really want a butch biker chick in KF. Leathers and short haircuts all around. Dat chick manliness.

Because she put it on herself, I think that one was a military ceremonial of some sort. Or she jsut felt like putting it on that day, I know women in the military here in canada and they put on makeup before they go to work in the army.

It's very... non-militaristic, don't you think?

Not every soldier has to be a shaved head ultra strict and stiff robot.

Nobody's saying that specifically. What I'm saying is that if your career is dedicated to being in warzones, keeping up with being a prettygirl or prettyboy should be the last thing on your mind. That may involve looking like an ultra-strict stiff robot, because that's often what it's like outside of training and ceremonial stuff.

Hygiene is one thing and actually worthwhile, but... makeup and haircare?

If you're going to pretend that gender is irrelevant to your country's military in the name of equality, the least you could do is actually make them equal and not make these utterly pointless allowances that are really a waste of time and and effort.

This gurl is a fine example as you showed, definitely a servicewoman.

So is she:

On the other hand, what the **** is this:

It's a propaganda tool.

I can understand the prettifying allowance for officers/ceremonial occasions and the like, because it applies to men to a degree, but not those in the field. You know, soldiers fighting a war. Nobody's gonna try look sexy for the sniper scopes. Nobody's encouraged too, either.

Besides when you think about it, if you try to look significant around others, you're setting yourself up for being shot first.

Well like I said their not in active combat duty and in some mundane job in the military then they do it (although they all have to do basic training) and not every position in the army is actively going to be in combat, and dont forget women in many countries are actually forbidden to serve in the front line of many armies and it is only until recently that they are allowed to in some nations (yes we are all aware woman have served at the front in the past but that was out of desperation of the nations part) so if I were you I would do your homework abit first.

So obivously they would not wear makeup if in active front line combat (or any sort of combat for that matter) I have never said that they do, but I just said some do if their not, why? I dunno ask the women who do because they do it out of their own choice from what I have seen.

In either case we are kind of derailing the thread over makeup on women so lets move on shall we?

A biker chick you said earlier could be pretty awesome or a unique one would be either a pilot of an aircraft or a tank/apc of some sort, what could grab TWI's attention if put out some concept art and maybe some attempts for some backround bio's

it would be cool to see more females in the cast.

I mean, having only three females (one of them a steampunk variant of the other) is kind dull.

I think a girl power DLC or something like that would be necessary to add to this game.

Aside from the obvious, this idea has my vote.

In Israel, service is mandatory for both males and females.
They allow them not to be hard-core military combat robots because they are not professionals, they are there to be trained and do their service.

Professional Israeli soldiers are very hard-core, i can assure of that. ;)

In countries with mandatory service, there a difference on how you treat conscripts and professionals.
Usually, conscripts are treated softly, while professionals go all the way hard-core.

Let us leave Israel out. The game takes place in U.K. What about using British female soldiers, police officers and every day (mostly of the badass variety) women as inspiration?

This game needs more anime girls.

I vote for high school girls model pack.

Even though this thread is a bit of a necro, I think this is an amazing idea and would definitely support this. Just.. less cleavage than Mrs. Foster, please. The occasional player using a female skin is ACTUALLY female, y'know. When Z-day comes I'm dressing for battle, not the club.

If you have made preperations and you have the gear ready to go, but even then, your gear is probably at your home. When all hell breaks loose, you might be at work, or somewhere else, and you might never be able to get back and grab your gear.

In this case, you improvise:

Keep in mind, it is statistically impossible that only bomb-shells are going to survive an apocalypse, so it is natural that KF female teammates would not be the sexiest women in existence dressed for a Playboy photo shoot...

There's definitely room for more females. I really liked Ash Harding; visually a good design, and that and her bio and voicepack fit right into KF. Mrs. Foster was solid too. I'm not a fan of Steampunk Mrs. Foster, but that's more of a gripe with the second Steampunk pack than with anything else.
If I hadn't already bought a lot of KF DLC, I'd pick up Ash as soon as a sale comes around... partly because she's listed as a Captain, and I have Captain in my username.

Nobody implied that you said they should be over-sexualised or naked. But by using the term 'hot' you are saying or at least implying that 'they' should fall into 'your' acceptable boundaries. If they do or not should be by happy happenstance, not design.
...
Then say as much in your original post lest you sound like a maladjusted preteen who's just discovered what breasts are for the first time.
Whoa, mate, calm down, let's take a step back. He didn't demand they be hot, he said they might as well be hot. The wording is important; their appearance is an after-thought. And he was probably joking anyway.
Of course they should be decked out in combat gear, most of the characters are. That aspect was assumed from the get-go, at least to me.
They have to use the same animations that the existing characters do, so things can't really get out of hand anyway.
And let's be honest, this is fiction. Everyone's attractive in fiction unless they're specifically written as otherwise, and sometimes even then...

It's a joke cause she is ment to be a prostitute or a stripper before she turned...
I thought this was her:

Okay, I'll bite. Let's see if I can avoid derailing this thread too much.

I would LOVE to see her in Killing Floor!

PotentiaLeaena, you are American.

KF takes place in U.K.
In U.K you cannot just carry guns around.

Your Airguns, your BB guns, your Airsoft guns, and if you are lucky, your Hunting guns are going to be at your home. Any firearms will be locked in a gun-safe.

I do not know how you dress for work, but if you walk down London full-tactical, your most probably going to be arrested. Of course you can keep First-Aid kits, some gear and clothing at your car. Actually First-Aid kits are required by E.U law, so i accept that without further comments.

Generally, in London, unless you are a cop and you are on-duty at the moment, you are pretty much f****d.

I suggest that you go and rent this movie:

Don't have to lecture me on politics in the U.K. I know the laws better than most, trust me. In the U.K. you have to keep your long guns and ammo locked up separately, and handguns are basically illegal.

Where I live it's different, sure. I've been known to open carry my Colt (matches my Stetson, y'know?) as well as my rifle. When my dad died, I inherited my grandpa's gun, spurs, and belt. I just come from that kind of family. But even without weapons, dressed in street clothes, certain types of people are more likely to survive the initial outbreak than others. That's all I was trying to say, but I think some of that got lost in translation, my apologies.

Those are the kind of characters I want to see in KF. The female police officer, the active duty military service-woman; the bad*** who's been through fire and flames and come out stronger, tempered, not prone to panic and not willing to give up without a fight.

Those kind of characters fit the atmosphere of KF. They're survivors, and they deserve to be represented in my (humble) opinion. And if they don't have any of the nice stuff I have, they're going to improvise, just like I would. I could throw my leather on in a pinch and it'd serve as some damn fine combat armor. I'm usually wearing it anyway.

I've seen Shaun of the Dead more than a dozen times. It's one of my all time favorite movies, but I'll gladly rent it again just for old time's sake.
