Just about everyone on this forum, have also tried spreading the good word for some time now.. but again, hard to get the word out, and even if you do, hard to convince someone to buy UT2004(a futuristic sci-fi shooter) just to download and play a ww2 game..

Bicycle, you've definitely done your part. The only reason I bought ut2k4 was because of all your posts about RO over on bluesnews (and I still haven't played the standard game).

Anyway, welcome! Its always cool that new people discover RO, and now that it comes to steam, hopefully thousands more will hear about it..[/quote]

\Well even for people who try it out don't like it becuase the realism. It feels to different in alot of way and of course involves strategy. ect. This same thing happen to infileration they Deserve more credit for there hard work. Ro is the same and going to fall the same way.

YA UT sucks now its not worth the buy becuase its mostly direct 3d and of course direct 3d looks like crap and doesn't play smooth like open GL.
So i look at UT only good for the MODs also.

Can I make a quick suggestion?

I think there needs to be a thread that answers all these questions stickied becuase the devs constantly have to answer the same questions over and over. It would be easier if all this info was put somewhere where new people could see it and read it.

(It would also give the devs more time to work on ROO ;))

Bummer, because it sounds like your'e gonna like this game alot :) Its not easy getting the word out to everyone, there's just to much noise about the Battlefield's and the call of duty's out there its hard to get PR, but they have tried, they even entered and won the Make something Unreal contest, which was pretty big..

In summary, it is an electronic distribution system for games. Accounts on Steam are free, Steam itself is a small download and, when running, will check for the latest updates to any games you have bought through it, download them and install them for you.

I don't have a problem with Steam, but I have a problem with the description "distribution system". Distribution is not a real problem anymore, it worked well so far. The real description for Steam is "Digital Rights Management" with some ADDITIONAL distribution.
