They were originally, at least in interviews. Someone who's not as lazy as mean should track down exact quotes.

Yeah well. a certain crowd may not buy RO3 if the swat rifle is too rare. And we all know who TWI's new favorite crowd are.

To the guy who stated 6 on a team which means 6 can be droped which could ultimately mean 12 per game I agree with but I also have a cool solution.

I noticed in RO2 when you kill some one you can pick up their weapons and nades, obviously, and if you pick up the weapon you pick up it's ammo aswell. In RO1 when you kill someone the ammo for their weapon would be scattered around their body so youd have to pick it up as well as the weapon.

I think they should implement that so there may not be a potential of 12 weapons or w/e. Or just implement it anyway because I thought it was a really cool thing in RO and it felt realistic. :)

Although in the current economy, from a business standpoint.....I see what TWI is doing and we cant hate because they arent the only company doing it to make moneys anyway they can by catering to the current consumer. Street Fighter 4 suffers the same fate when Capcom catered to consumers to make moneys instead of making a good fighter.

It's just business.

The assault class is available to six people per team already. Please, make the rare weapons (including the MP40/II unlock) hero only :(

Please Ramm, make these weapons a rare sight (1-2 per team if unlocked by the player) at least on realism servers. You surely realise that there are two different kind of players now playing RO as it shows on the different server settings already.

I think I speak for all of us that like the realism approach that it seriously compromises gameplay as we enjoy it.

Assault is supposed to be an SMG-based class. Assault rifles are -very- different than SMGs.

I would just replace the elite rifleman class with elite assault (or whatever you want to call it), there's already too many semi autos as it is and this would solve both problems.

2 max per side on 64 player server with this class.

The picture reminds me of me ingame scracthing my head wondering why I picked the MP-40 over the Mkb...and I think the guy with the MkB had a slight grin on his face.:D

i think squad leaders and commander should able to use all the weapons on there side by choice after unlocking.

I would have also thought the g41 would have been an unlock for rifleman. Say once you reach veteran status youd get access to it.

I would like a dev to come in here and say why the avt 40 and mbk 42, mp 40/2 etc aren't hero weapons anymore, but available to everyone who unlocked it.

there is still the problem, that players like me, who didn't buy DDE and are low levels (because all achievements and leveling was stucked at lvl6 the first day for some reason), DO have access to those weapons.
