Hiho,
Hehe, never realized that i already have some fans here

.
Well, not to disappoint you guys but that
screenshot you mean is actually a shot from a former xp installation running
bblean.
And while looking at that screenie again i am really wondering why you didnt ask me how in earth i managed to get ROEd running in linux ...
Regarding Miranda: Well if such a thing like a multiprotocol IM is preventing u from switching... there are really tons of alternatives (and better ones too, imo). Pidgin is maybe the first choice, it even runs xfire protocol with the gfire plugin (
http://edhewitt.co.uk/gfire/) and imho the coolest thing about it is finch, the commandline client of pidgin coming alongside with the gtk client in most distros. Also there are other IM's like Kopete, centericq etc.
But if you wanna run Miranda on Arch, i'd say go for it! Thats exactly the way how i got really involved into Linux, having a more special program at hand which didn't run/ was not supported/ etc and going through the progress of reading doku, using google and learning the commandline. Actually, thats way more interesting than any internet game
