Just recently my Killing Floor has been giving me a multitude of start-up errors. These include a microsoft C ++ error, a verification error, a generic runtime error, and a error announcing that there was a problem with installation and/or the system was overheated. I have attempted all of the detailed fixes for this problem that are known to me and were depicted in these forums (did a system restore, verified killing floor files, reinstalled killing floor, updated all drivers and software, and changed the compatibility, also reset the user settings to default) and there is still no fixing this issue. I have no idea what else I can do. Any suggestions?

System Specs:
Processor: AMD Athlon 64X2 Dual Core Processor TK-42 1.60 Ghz
RAM: 3gb
32-bit OS Windows Vista
Video Card: ATI Radeon X1200
Tons of empty harddrive space and system has been scanned for viruses.

I would suggest you try scanning the drive for errors from within Windows (you probably want at least the first option of scanning for file errors checked) to make sure that data isn't corrupted, and if that doesn't show anything try changing your Steam download region and re-verifying. If that doesn't work then you could copy in the error logs which might help pinpoint the problem.

there might be a bad file in cache dir.
or a map you may have downloaded might have errors, or needs extra packages/system files.
or there might be bad ucl files in your system folder, sort by date, delete the newest ucl and log/txt files.
