I think this is from the studio that broke away from GCS (STALKER).

While we are on topic of FO3, i was new to the series when i played this and i was not expecting much, knowing it came from the guys that made Oblivion. However i thoroughly enjoyed playing through it, that was of course until i had finished it. Then realised i had paid

Trailer isn't enough to figure out what the game is.. is it just a FPS?

Either way, looks neat. if they keep per-bullet graphics in that SMG, that's an awesome way to show, without a HUD, ammo counts and stuff.. but a bit unrealistic in most firearms

FO3 was good, except i felt that it could have been much MUCH better. the whole nuclear aspect could have been more atmospheric imo

If we are going for something post apocalyptic then someone please make a proper Mad Max style game.

looks pretty awesome imo, and the topic it plays in allows for some REALLY innovative things like frame like mags that make a hud obsolete

Fallout 3 was good.

This game looks like it will be a mix between STALKER (the semi-realism) and Fallout 3 (the open world). Could be real good. Unfortunately, the game will have monsters. But if it has a huge, good-looking open world to freely explore, and good dialogue and interesting missions, I'm willing to look past that. Let's hope it won't have laser guns and unrealistic RPG elements.

I kinda like what they did with the guns, it's very original and they somewhat make sense as well. In a post-apocalyptic world, I bet the arms industry would be gone as well. There would still be weapons (the most reliable ones ;) ), but ammunition would soon run out. And the weapons might fall in the hands of the strongest people. As a result there would be a shortage of guns and ammunition, so they would have to be made from scratch. Amateur gunsmiths make new guns, develop new cartridges and magazines.... and there you have it, home-made guns! :D At least, that would be my explanation.

I think the guns are very cool and quite realistic actually.:)

EDIT: that train cart ride at the end of that clip, Stalker reference?

I don't get easily excited but Wow! Seems like a what a sequel to Stalker should be and not just drawing the original game/engine out.

EDIT: definitely the best graphics i've ever seen.

and fallout 3 was crap at least on pc. same glossy gay fantasy faces from oblivion and boring missions.
