Message to TTers - lean in front of your tank

Does anybody else trying to TT often find it hard to figure out which of the 15 other people on your team is the other person with the [TT] tags on?

Upon scrambing for a tank at the beginning of a round, it's a giant pain to figure out who wants to Team Tank.


So my suggestion is, if you plan to Team Tank, get in front of a Tank, and start leaning side to side, in a stupid looking dance. That should be very very easy to spot.

And you can announce it in case people haven't read this thread. Get in front of a tank and say, "If you want to Team Tank with me, I'm the guy doing the stupid dance in front of the tank, hop in!"

I usualy just get in a tank and poke my head out of the hatch. Then start calling out for people in chat.

Good idea though. That should catch peoples' attention.

Yeah, I get in, and then open up a hatch to show everyone that I am ready to roll and waiting for helpers.

or if we had a briefing screen added onto our intial weapon pick.

pick a weapon or troop type, and it goes to a screen showing other similar troops... allowing you to 'pair up' for tank crewing with a checkbox or such

then it spawns you beside each other, with a secondary tag perhaps in another color to indicate YOUR tank crew.

Personally i would love to see a whole group of soldiers do the dance at the spawn, might make for a good movie, lol.
