I miss the first trailer... I first saw it on steam and made me instabuy the game.

I have to admit my first few hours were brutal... coming from battlefield2 I had such a hard time adapting.

But once I got it... I never enjoyed any other shooter.


Second trailer in the link advertising the "Fall Booster Pack"
With the so very popular loved and hated Danzig.
It also brought in the Universal Carrier to replace the mad amount of clown cars...


What I am getting at is.

I can't wait for RO2's latest trailer showing off new additions !
However to be realistic I wont expect it for another 6 months at least.
I hope to be pleasantly surprised :D

Just felt like throwing some optimism in the forums !

RO: OST had that feeling no other game can beat. The game just felt raw and brutal.
I'm pretty sure that in 5 years RO2 will feel kinda the same way, but it will never top Ostfront. :)

Its not just memories for me while I like Ro2 I have been playing Ost more and more now.It just has the game play type I love more of a riflemans game play instead of a spray and prey type that's in Ro2.I love matches that has half the teams with bolts it changes the pace to something different than we see in modern games.

Don't get me wrong im not bashing Ro2 I just hated seeing TWI throw historical accuracy out of the window in favor of pleasing the mainstream.With automatic weapons for every player on the team and super rare weapons being the normal. Im hoping mutated servers will change this one day.So I can get this type of game play out of Ro2 with its many improved features.

I was in the Danzig "film".

During the breaks, we would go stabbing the horse, just to wind down.

Good times had by all.

Since day one i played ROost and DH everyday. These were the games that stucked me to the monitor. I haven't played COD and BF2 since Ro came out and will never do.

Give RO2 the time to be the successor of ROost.

My best memories we playing Karlovka on Combined Arms.... so many heated battles, every class had an important role to play, objectives you cap and destroy, half-tracks, tanks..... large map with many ways to flank or attack and team work determined who'd win the round.

I have yet to find another RO map that was as much fun as Karlovka.

My best memories of Ost is joining a server as a rifleman and seeing someone on the other team type "Oh s**t its Gunther" :p

Too many found memories from Ost to name any specific one Its my all time favorite fps ... hands down. I had 1000 hours easily in that game 700 tracked by steam this not including playing it off steam for almost 2 years as a mod.

I really wished ro2 tracked class type on the scoreboard like ro1 so I could see which riflemen if any was in the top 5.

Same here. I almost exclusively play rifleman and almost always end up in the top 5, I want my bragging rights dammit.
