[Game] Medieval 2 Mods?

The Long road

It's kind of like what Rome Total Realism was to Rome Total War. The Long Road has longer turns, (two turns per year instead of 1 turn for 2 years). More expensive units, longer construction times for buildings, new factions, and new units.
Makes for a much more challenging game.

You don't need the expansion for it (I still don't have the expansion either). You just need to make sure you're patched to the right version.

Here's a complete overview of it

A cool looking mod about the English civil war that seems to have popped up out of nowhere.

That looks pretty sweet, just love that time period. And would enjoy kicking that b*stard Cromwell's arse :p

Anyway, my MTW2 mod of choice is Deus Lo Vult; really hard economically, and lots of scope for micromanagement. Huge map and historically probably the most accurate mod (I believe):

Sure you can! Find the file:
"\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\data\world\maps\campaign\imperial_campaign\descr_strat.txt"

Move nations from the unlockable section to playable. Should work although it's been a while since I played the regular campaign :)

If you want the hardcore experience try Deus Lo Vult:
