Pretty tidy!

Gotta agree with Obvious, Kettch though: the font used in e.g. Xendance's sig is imho a sort of Mare Nostrum trademark. To change that now to a clean-looking sans-serif font as on the new website is a loss of the established, old-style touch ...

I just browsed through and I think the amount of stuff you guys have is amazing, it really shows how far you've come along. The gallery is easy to use and looks good too.

Bardia Update

From the creator of Smolensk Stalemate, winner of the Red Orchestra mapping competition, Xendance brings you..

Libya: Bardia, 2nd January 1942

After the breakout from El Alamein the Allied forces pressed on towards Tobruk. One of the key strategic objectives in the region is the capture of the Tobruk to Bardia road and the capture of Bardia itself. The harbour is being used to re-supply Axis forces in Libya and is preventing an attack on Tobruk. Bardia has been surrounded by Allied troops and has been under heavy bombardment for some time, it must be captured quickly to prevent the Allied advance stalling.

The task of capturing the heavily fortified town has fallen to the South African 2nd Infantry Division along with elements of New Zealand cavalry units. The South African forces are mainly made up from ill-trained and ill-equipped policemen, which could lead to costly Allied losses during the assault.
