My South African accent is loong gone. Slight twang though.

Make sure you dont go for the typical 'afrikaaner' accent. It was mostly South Africans of British decent that fought. Also other settlers who were of Indian heritage.

The true afrikaaners refused to fight as they saw Germany as a friend. Just some history there for you.

I know a Rooineck - I will try to convince him. If you guys are willing to cough up a few bob I might even be able to drag him into a studio to get top results.

PM me.

(For those that don't know, 'Rooineck' = Boer slang for English-descent White South African, 'Hairyback' = English South African slang for Dutch-descended Boers, btw Boer = farmer(lit.) like German 'Bauer' )

I thought it meant red back?

Ok Sam how do I get samples done? My South african accent is probably ideal as its not typically afirikaaner as they didnt fight in the war!

Get in touch bro!

Please tell me you got proper Aussies :p

The sniper in TF2 is supposedly Australian, yet he sounds like a London cabbie both in accent and in the phrases he uses... it'd be nice to see someone get it right for once. That said, Bungie did a pretty good job of it...
