I just made my map with just the Modular Static Set provided by Tripwire's wiki page, are we suppose to do this? Because I see other community members posting maps and their work and seems like they never bothered to use the set when I look it over with the SDK. What's the point of it exactly? I thought it was necessary to use and skin over it with your actual textures, static meshes and whatnot.

I'm confused as to what is the need for the Modular Static Set. :IS2:

Alright, I figured that is what they we're for. But can't I just put textures on top of the modular sets? Or would that still not work to have their MEAT system still working?

On the Internet.
I used the modular system. It's pretty neat. I just placed (edit) textures materials on the pieces like I assumed you were supposed to.

I believe the level designers from TWI will be posting some info on how to optimize maps for lighting and the persistent blood systems. It has to do with the 'Combine Static Meshes' option in the right click list.
