Hey...
ive been playing RO and then Ro-DH since over years now and like this game very much. Even the playercount is not very high. Anyway...i would like to create a map. Its settled at the Humboldthain, Berlin 1945. A few days ago, ive been at the old AEG Factory (Berlin Moabit, Brunnenstrasse) and discovered many Bulletholes in Front of the Building and wanted to recreate the battle for this Building, as it happened due to the attack on the Flak Tower Humboldthain in April 24-26th 1945.
I already watched all the vids at 3dbuzz and im ready to start.
As many Objects are already available through other maps, i wanted to copy e.g. the urban buildings. BUT: i did not discover a way in selecting whole building brushes. For example the Reichstag is built of many seperate statics, but not available in a whole. How do i get the Brushes, which the building consists of, in a complete selection? Doin this by hand is crappy hard work. This cant be the solution.
My aim is, to save these buildings as standalone objects in a new staticmesh, so i can place them anywhere i want, without having to form them out of endless pieces of brushes. The trees are also not made of single sticks, which must be first glued together...to have a tree.
Ideas?
