[MAPBUG] Annoying protected area killing axis players on grain elevator.

Description: This is an unneeded protected area. in the area D6. This is a possible flanking way for the axis team, but if you stay there to long and don't enter the door emidetly you die.

recreateability: Simply go to D6 as axis, go left, jump down, and you are in a protected area.

I also have the feeling we don't get a warning, or missing the warning when entering spawn area's. Sometimes I'm suddenly gibbed, then it says entering protected area or something.

Yep can confirm this is happening its the entrance at the bottom with the little ladder in it keeps saying protected area

although if your quick and run through fast enough you can get into the cap so its only a small zone thats bug i think

derp a herp its called dont run into the enemy spawn area. What your referring to is the grain pile that is below the main floor level and there is a tunnel, right? That tunnel LEADS INTO THE ALLIED SPAWN AREA.

Tip: dont spawn kill, try to capture the objective, I can guarantee going for the objective wont have you killed by spawn protection.

the tunnel itself should be protected then instead of the grain pile, as I to have fell victim to this bug.

why would they model a perfect flanking entrance to the capture zone only to put a invisible death field around it.

if anything we should be blocked from going into the grain area then if it is not intended to be used by the attackers. and by this I mean changing the map and adding a 1 way wall, that can be climbed over from grain pile but not accessed by the attackers because wall is to high to mantle.

totally agree, they should be able to jump down and we should not be able to climb up, would solve it. The way it is atm is just confusing.

Happens to me a lot in territories. If the territory before it gets captured, the territory I'm trying to capture gets locked and I get insta-gibbed before I can beat a hasty retreat.

The last time I played firefight I ran straight for the grain building and got insta-killed roughly halfway there. I didn't even make it to the building.
