As I'm aware the time and efford it takes I hardly comment on peoples maps. But looking at the screens except the first screen all other screens for now feels like a gathering of meshes spreaded on a terrain.

The theme is clear. A ruined industrial area but now you need to shape up these areas to something what convince players they really feel like they are in a ruined indusrtial area.

Here you might find some inspiration

Thank you, that will help alot. But I don't understand what you mean, every map is a gathering of meshes spreaded on a terrain.

Keep in mind this is alpha. And there are lots of things to do yet.
Yeah, but I think he meant it's a bit disorganized. I agree with him. It has a feeling of a factory complex, but it doesn't really look like a factory complex. I think you should check the general layout of the map and compare it to the layout of several factories. One thing I think you should focus on is interiors, kinda like Drecks's Coldsteel, with some larger buildings with several floors, tunnels and so on. I know it's alpha, but I want to help you with the direction you are taking with the map too :p

Anyway, it looks promising :IS2:

Oh, that. Yes, I understand where you guys are coming from. Reason being the design I choosed.
It actually looks disorganized, but thats because this map is like a small version of a big area with both Residential and Industrial sectors combined.
After all, it's based on a map from an RTS!

With that in mind, around 75% of the map is industrial while the first 25% is residential. Those last screens are from one of the few sections of the factories that are in the residential area of the map (South of the Train station).

I agree that so far it is kinda disorganized, but it's actually part of what I aim... if that makes any sense.
I will try my best to make it look as realistic as possible and not crowded with diferent things that make no sense.

((For a moment I thought he meant that I had a bunch of meshes on a plain terrain(visible in the background). As it that was the idea, lol))

:)

Ninja edit: BTW, I like ColdSteel... but it's totally NOT what I'm aiming for :p

Yeah unorganized is the proper word. In the 2th screen I see different kind of walls. The ruined factory wall and the ruined park wall mesh. Its close to the two massive pillars with rebar on top. In that same ruined hall there doesn't seem any more of these pillars. That kind of stuff. Nezzer is right you should focus on one building and finish that outside and interior and try to fit it in your theme.

Yeah, it looks like a lot of different stuff put together but no theme. My map was like that too when I first started off. You must have seen the pictures on my old thread.
