Not sure if this is the right place to put it, but TheHiveV1 map doesn't work for me. Apparently there's also a V2 of the map floating around somewhere but I haven't checked it out.

Awesome site. Can't wait to download some of those maps.

It might be, I haven't checked myself but if the archive for the map from the website doesnt contain the extra file(s) then i guess it is the correct place, if it contains everything and its user error (possibly broken from an update etc) this should be posted into the particular maps thread (I'm sure there's one in the Level Design - Final Map releases forum)

Make sure the additional file(s) placed into the correct folder(s), just in case you've only copied the .rom file across.

I did. The problem was that the .rom was labeled as .ROM and I relabeled it to .rom. The main issue is that the map doesn't even show up in my list of maps when I'm trying to do it solo, so not sure what's the problem.

The West London Night map looks sick.

Someone else has had the same issue recently. I checked the map myself, and while it does show up for me, I can't actually play the map. When we originally uploaded it though, it was working perfectly fine... so not sure what the problem is now. I may put the map into private until it is (if) it's resolved.

I didn't have that map installed, so I went to the website, downloaded it and placed all of the files in the corresponding folders. I left .ROM as just that without renaming it to .rom and the map shows up in the map list in single player and I also was able to play it.

Make sure you're not using a map list. If a map list is being used, added maps wont count. If you know for sure this is not the case, look at the bottom as sometimes they add themselves to the bottom and not alphabetical order.

I did try to play it as a .ROM before renaming it to .rom and it still didn't work.

@Flux: map list? Not sure what you mean there (kinda new to modding). I know that when I put other maps in the maps folder and other files in their respective folders, the new maps get put at the bottom of the list in solo mode, but they eventually realphabetize themselves.

Worst comes to worst, I'll wait for the HiveV3. Seems like it's moving along fine, can't wait to play it. :3

I had the same issue with TheHive too. Downloaded it a second time after deleting the corresponding files and it still didn't show up in my map list in game. By the way, amazing map site, i downloaded over 30 maps since christmas and loved some of them. Gratz to your work and efforts on the site!;)

It was from your website. But to make sure, I'll redownload it again for testing purposes.

I'f you've tried v2 at all, you may of overwritten needed files for v1 i think, mainly the keyboard.uc or u file if i remember the thread, which would cause a missmatch

I'll test it on my test box when i get home to see if there's any errors in the log.

Anyways, the thread for the map is http://forums.tripwireinteractive.com/showthread.php?t=30029

I actually just went and double-checked. Made sure I removed all of the files first, and noticed I had a missing sound file (wasn't there for me to remove), even though I was sure I put it in (might have copied it to the wrong folder accidentally).

Anyway, the map does work for me as well.
