(Update v4 - 30/4/15 - Small crevices removed that let players not take hits, boss sometimes not spawning fixed, weapon/armor spawns fixed, trees aren't made of reinforced steel anymore)

(Update v3 - 29/4/15 - More 'atmosphere', more spawns, cave-y type thing added)

Hey,

First post, first map - been fun learning this stuff last couple of days!

Its a dark outdoorsy map, set in a rocky canyon with some trees and rocks and a cave. Simple. Played a few rounds with it on my pub server and it's fun, if nothing else its different to what we have available right now! All the functional stuff works - waves, traders, item pickups, boss spawn etc.

Feedback would be welcome!

The map is alright, it's pretty tame though. You should put up invisible walls so people can't block the spawns since there are so few of them. Also, just a small thing people noticed; the trader pod isn't level on the ground, so when you run around it flashes on the GPS. Otherwise, nice starter map. Wouldn't recommend playing with more than 6 people though.

A couple bugs / issues I noticed after playing it on my server.
On some of the trader pods, when you run up to them, they start flashing and become kind of transparent. They still work fine.

The other thing I noticed is with the spawns. Unless you're in some specific locations, the zeds will not spawn from certain sections. This in understandable if the players were like right next to the spawn but it seems like it happens even when they're at a pretty good distance. Maybe make some spawns outside the map with a path into the map for the zeds that players can't access.

Map / screens updated again. I don't want to change the filename of the .kfm because it makes it a pain in the a** to change server ini's every time. I could put a .zip up or something though. The download link will always point to the newest version that is running, on my pub server's redirect.

Map was played on my server tonight for the first night! So far so good, they enjoyed it. The only complaint they had was the trees getting in the way of shots, like the tree branches has some hitbox around it preventing the shots to get through it.

Otherwise, great job on the map! Design of the map makes it difficult to see where the husks are firing from which is pretty sweet.

The only thing they requested if you can add an armour spawn, maybe some weapons and a bit more ammo. =)
