I like this really much. Only little fixes and this map is good. Water drops should have effect when they hit the ground and the water. I notice that sound of thunder lighting sometimes stops. Buildings are too empty. You should add more details on them. Walking/Running sound is wrong. Now it sounds like you are running on dry ground.

Map is indeed great, but needs some more details in buildings. Also some buildings with upper floors would be great, for sniper combat, or some caps in buildings to fight for. For some inspiration you should take a look on Evilhobos map Kriegsstadt.

Keep it up. Map looks nice, but it also needs some more details in buildings, sewers would be cool and also some upper floors. In overal much more details, each cap look near the same.

Finally got a chance to play this map today.

Feedback: I don't know if this is just because the map is new or if all the experienced players happened to be playing Allies, but the Germans could never break past the B C D cluster. It felt very easy defending these points from the Soviet side. Unfortunately, the match ended before the battle could move to the later objectives, so I can't give any meaningful feedback about the rest of the map.

I see stuff like this every time a map is updated (with major changes) or a new map is released. I say give it a week or two and people will figure it out.

P.S.
Most players also stick to one server so its weird seeing how the map is played completely different on each server. I call it server culture or metagame.

Wolvy,

A reduction in the number of cap zones and not allowing the recap of captured zones will go a long way in smoothing out the rough spots.

We played with a full server (as you know)... and...... we had this map up for weeks before the last update so we need no extraordinary amount of time to become acclimated with the map and its layout.

The map's appearance is gorgeous - you almost feel as though you're getting "wet" playing. (immersion factors are excellent) I'd like the sounds of the aircraft and AA to be slightly intensified. Yes, the map needs more to it in the way of eye candy and perhaps hidey holes...

The wall on the top of the tower is walk-thru... ;)

The map, its concept and playability are all top notch. Thank you for all you do.

Played this for a long while on our full server last night and made about the same conclusions. One other thing I would note: I noticed the Russian spawn was much closer to the objectives than the german spawn. This was probably reasoning for germans being stuck at cap zones B, C and D for almost 50 minutes. Its hard to cap those positions all at once when the russians are immediately back in them. Also...... I couldn't help but imagine what the map may be like to have a russian and german tank roaming the city blocks ;)...Just a thought. On the other hand tanks would probably just be cannon fodder in urban fighting.

Other than that this is a VERY immersive and enjoyable map. Can't wait to see the next update :)

Thank you guys sooooooooooooo much! I'm truly grateful. It makes my job a lot easier with all this info, instead of trying to guess what needs to be done to a map while playing with bunch of Ivans and Fritzs...lol

So please keep'em coming. Damn I love you guys! :D :p

Overall, I love the map. I have just one small fussy little criticism. It's just a realism detail thing. I looked at the sky and saw numbers of aircraft up there which would constitute an entire air-force of that era. I can just about assure you that neither the Russians or the Germans had the resources to put numbers of planes in the air over Stalingrad like that. The idea to have some aircraft up there is a good immersive effect, but reduce the numbers by about 2/3. This will look sensible and at the same time have the side benefit of reducing a little performance stress on older video cards. :)

Makes good sense.... +1
