I don't know how it's done in UE3 but some specularity on the textures would go a long way in making it look wet.

First let me say thanks for all the comments/feedback ;) Guys trust me, everything that is being talked about is in the map. The pictures don't do the map justice. I might have to do a video soon. Puddle Water looks real, buildings have details, plenty of specularirty.

Keep the comments/suggestions coming :D thanks!

Could also describe the map abit? How big, how many caps and stuff like that. I would still love to see a pic of the overhead map :p

Ok here is the over head shot. this is what i have now for set up. might change it a bit, not sure yet. there are 10 objectives right now. about 150 to 250 meters between objectives.

Looking great. Will there be an umbrella attachment Hero unlock for the Mkb. 42? Looks like we're going to need that :p. Any news on when we can expect a beta?

Thanks, it looks awesome! Will you lock the objectives after they are captured? I think it would be much more interesting if they were open for recapture. Would greatly improve the rattenkrieg feel IMHO :IS2:

At first, I was concerned when you said that because A/D maps generally depend on irreversible caps to set the pace, but then I saw your placement of the spawns relative to the objectives. Looks like it should be just the right amount of push/pull while still advancing the frontline forward.

I can't wait to play this map with the MGs hidden in the darkness/rain. It should be scary as hell when an MG is suppressing you. :)

Hey Wolvey, looks cool so far man. One thing I feel I must say is, that looks like a lot of dual objectives... How about merging a couple, so that both teams could occupy separate buildings/cover in the cap and have to flush one another out?

the rains all well and good, but with the germans be getting great-rain-coats? ;)
this looks like it will be awesome to play and huge! are we talking tanks and apc's on it as well?

I don't think APCs would be appropriate or helpful on this map. It also looks like there is a ton of rubble, so even a tank might not do either side too much good.

Only objectives 1-2 are locked? Hell yes. I'm hoping this map becomes either one of two things....Either

1.) Avoids a trap of the map just feeling giant and empty and actually has a feeling of a shifting front line rather then pure chaos

Or

2.) Has a front line but allows for long range shootouts or cowering in a building away from the rain to keep dry.

Hopefully both

P.S. Please include fire bins inside buildings for immersions sake

P.S.S. This map will be amazing, because it has rain, let alone everything else like UNLOCKED CAPS... I cannot wait. :D
