Yes, its happening. At first we thought some typo was in our .ini file for the map. It was fine. Therefore yes, this trub is confirmed.

Not sure if it is my server side but we are getting kicked if we enter the tank. Harley did you put a Nomad Mike mutator into the latest build of bridges? Tested with human yes and human no. Kicked both times with error about not having the correct files or something. The rest of the map runs fine for me.

I will redownload the map and test again to confirm it is not a client side error.

:confused: A couple of us have experienced this issue as well.

Thanks guys.
I'll ask TW about it. May be something to do with the last patch, as all I did was recook the map.

Update

Update

The 13th march (B9) version of 'Bridges of Druzhina' TE is in the links below and on the front page. SW is uploading now.
CD version is not updated yet but it won't far away.

Also, TW are looking into why the tank can't be removed via an ini for an infantry only version. Will keep you posted.

Change log:

-Tank is not kicking players. (my sdk is broken so TW were kind enough to cook this version for me)
-A little more cover at trench D.
-Reinforcements reduced by 100, 150.
-Buiding in front of last Bridge now has access to the second floor with new -firing positions.
-more clutter and detail about.
-Extra sandbag cover Russian side of second bridge.
-covernode fixes and additions.

Really needs more cover in any case.
I know this is a half-remake of a DH map, but that map had more armor as well as a troop transport.

Bridges in Campaign seems to fall over when Axis go to attack. Harley are you able to do some magic or do I need to use the non tank version ?

also where is a link to the non tank version. I will look a bit harder.

I loaded the server side map as instructed and created a redirect for the client side map file. Renamed the client side file as instructed in the wiki and then added the following to my ROGame.ini config file:

After a restart I was able to load the map via the web admin and I was able to join the map even though I couldnt see it download from the redirect. I also noticed that the in game loading screen just said "Loading Custom Map"

Does the setup above look correct?

Where would the downloaded map be saved on my computer? I'd like to delete it and retest the process.

How can I change the in game loading screen to display the correct info for Bridges of Druzhina?

There used to be a bug where a player downloading a second custom map in a row would see just what you described. That could be why you didn't see any download progress stats.

As far as info for the map appearing as it loads, not implemented yet. No word on whether or not it will be. You'll see the same screen for every custom map.

Your downloaded files with be in your cache folder:
C:\Users\yourusername\Documents\My Games\RedOrchestra2\ROGame\Cache

You can safely delete all the files in the \cache folder (don't delete the folder itself.) OR, you can look in the cach.ini file, find the corresponding file name, delete the corresponding file and remove that line from the .ini. That way you only lose the one map. Either way works.

AxRhino, hopefully the server admins can get you sorted, I'm not up with that side of things I'm afraid. :eek:
