Fireaxe can be used by Firebug too. Other's than pure cosmetic look, it feels useless with Firebug's perk bonuses too. Maybe add faster swing speed for Firebug or damage boost.

Firebug is already a near melee with weapons like flamethrower and the microwave gun so a melee weapon would not have much of a role as with the puliviser with the demo.

The only way to make Firebug-Zerker crossperk melee is to make it set zeds on fire, but it would be very hard to balance.

Nope. The Fire Axe is already a mediocre weapon in the hands of Zerker, made viable only by the existence of Scrakes and Quarter Pounds. There's really no reason why the Firebug needs a weapon designed to act as a stopgap for Zerker's T3 and T4 melees.
